This is just so different from Tirana! The pace of life, the atmosphere...I need to get to Berat on my next visit to the Balkans :)
@EllisWR2 жыл бұрын
Yeah it's completely different. All the other cities and towns in the balkans are small and have such a relaxed atmosphere, capital cities are always such a contrast, cheers for watching

U are welcome but make a video about the churches. Berat 6 mosque and all empty.. and 56 Churches. (Even them mostly empty, we r lay peoples)

@@ervinxx2545 hey Ervin we learnt alot in our time in Albania, this video was in the beginning, we learnt about Albanians being originally Catholic etc. We saw that mosques were empty and churches had visitors :) it's like money is being put into albania from Turkey and other countries like this for mosques

@@EllisWR in fact we divided (with a Church division Great Scizma) on Catholics and Orthodoxies. In Enver Hoxha regime the Catholics make rezistence against his Atheist War. Sow him made a False Census who declare who the 60% of population was Muslims, for not to have a problem with international organizations.. in that way him persecuted the Catholics on Nord. Here on South no one give a f... about the religion.

Pleased you headed to Berat 👍🏻. It was my fav place in Albania by far. Great video as usual, surprised to still see the building work going on in Gorca. I would have thought that would be done now. Did you bump into my friend Lorenc?
@EllisWR2 жыл бұрын
It was a very nice place indeed, yeah there was so much building work in that area made it like a construction site :( no we didn't see good old Lorenc sadly!
