Eric Jones is back and this time with Metal 4. Let me start with saying I have friends who know Eric and I will personally vouch for this magicians work. He is a great teacher series called Metal that he has released over the last Decade have been some of the most phenomenal material covering coin magic. I recommend picking this up. It also wouldn't hurt to buy yourself BoBo's Modern Coin Magic, The Encyclopedia of Coin Magic by Doctor Michael Rubinstein and David Roth's Expert Coin Magic. These materials will work great together and can help you advance really quickly in coin magic. Now on to Metal. I will tell you, you definitely want to add this to your media library and the rest of the Metal Series if you don't have it. I purchased Metal 4 today because I own the other videos in the Metal series and I wanted to see what Eric was bringing to the table this time in Metal 4. Well, after looking through the video, watching some of the effects and their explanations, I can tell you that every piece of this blows away the others he has made. Each of the videos Eric has produced are great, but the there is so much differn't this time around. The quality is great and care was put into developing every moment of Metal 4. I am not sure if Eric himself shot this in Vegas or if this was shot at Ellusionist HQ in TX, but you can really tell there is a different style of development that was done with this and the person who did the filming knew what they are doing. As a person who works with photography at times and media, I can see quality when I look at something. I highly recommend this. There are all new routines in the video and it will add on nicely to the hard work you may have already done. Please order yourself some OxF coins before buying this. You are going to need these for the Metal 4. What you will need: OxF Coins from Ellusionist. Get the Package from Metal 3. Quiver - Buy because these run out eventually. DBK hey I just brought the download. Gotta say, there is some awesome material on there! To answer your question, this “audio 2.0” is basically the same as the original audio, except now you are able to do it with jeans pockets instead of side loading pockets, but he goes over both variations. And the vanish of the last coin (from what I gathered from youtube performance) you can now do the vanish sleeves up, which is a lot cleaner. And you only now need to do the weird count once, which maybe makes the trick a bit easier. But most of the original routine is still there.

It's different material so hard to compare. Metal 1 & 2 are sleight of hand based, Metal 3 and 4 are gaff based. If you like what you've seen Eric perform on TV lately, this is where you can learn it.

Jakob Paulzen Metal 1 is like the starting point, the encyclopedia for coin magic. Metal 2 is some impromptu and gaffless routines. Metal 3 is some gaffed magic. BUT Metal 4 is his best routines. So take that as you will. If you haven’t bought any metal project, I recommend picking up Metal 1, but skipping 2 and 3 and buy Metal 4. Just a thought.
