@@katniss5052 It's the culture I like more than the appearance. Although I can get behind them being how they are in dragon age, they do seem a bit too slender in Inquisition. But apperence wise I have seen worse. The face shape of elves in skyrim always threw me off of even playing them. It;s a little wierd in dragon age Origons but can be modified a bit. I don;t mind them being shorter. Although it was funny to have my character in origons comment about how the woman seems short for a guard and his head came up barely above her chest. He had to dress as a guard going in lol Nice easter egg referencing star wars though. Also being slighter build in this case don;t mean weaker. I imagine them being stronger than they appear. musculature might be different? Also they would be very agile, quick etc. Sometimes power can come in other forms than brute strength. But yeh I do usually prefer playing warrior/rogue characters. Might seems a little odd to have them for a defensive warrior unless they avoid damage by parry, dodging rather than taking brute hits.

well I do realize this is an old comment but I thought I would tell you that I always shipped it myself as matter fact I always play a male Inquisitor and romance Dorian and it's very cute.and as I see it long distance relationships aren't terrible and it doesn't last forever I mean eventually The Inquisitor will have a chance to get together and stay together with Dorian it's just the absence makes the heart grow fonder trope.dorian's meant to be set up for a game as male( gay)Inquisitor canon love interest and Sera for female Inquisitor and of course. There are others if you choose them instead one being Solas( fairly bi friendly). But I think I'll stay with Dorian.this is definitely my OTP and dragon Age except for when I do het romance and that would probably Josephine or Cassandra.

Besides, Iron Bull, a Qunari, seemed to be able to find much more opportunities to be with Dorian in Tevinter than a human or elf Inquisitor so not really sure what the hell the writers of that DLC were trying to say. It's really rather sloppy writing. Iron Bull can rescue Dorian from an ambush which apparently never occurs with a human or elf inquisitor romance? Trespasser really didn't seem to know where the hell it was going or what it wanted to be about in the end.

@@bradtorville5526 until they get realistic sliders without mods or something I'm going to say that I do human male Inquisitor or qunari.( who was a mercenary) but since he almost always a mage it doesn't matter. My long-distance thing is not just because Dorian becoming a a Magister( but ealirvhe was an ambassador?).. It's because I know full well that they got functioning mirrors .. That are capable of carrying people back and forth places. Plus as Inquisitor you can just moved Antivia and it's a halfway point remove door live O up there in that little part that's very close to the border to where he lives. Point is where there's a will there's a way. And honestly if I'm playing a warrior I never even recruit iron bull. The fact that he can fuck you over because of stupid reasons.. It's stupid to me..sorry just not not a fan of him . Even if I do admit that he's unintentionally hilarious sometimes. Also I wonder if oswick has a mirror so am I character goes home he can actually go visit Dorian as well.. because you cannot convince convince me that where he lives I don't have any goddamn mirrors.

Damn Bioware really has a hard on for two tropes 1) Daddy issues 2) Romance Disruptions. Noone can ever be together in Bioware's games, they must be split apart some how. :( Cullen is the only romance i've seen where they actually end up together, no long distance bs.

It was kinda silly of me to say this, but, when my Inquisitor lost her left arm, I got all giddy because I've been out of work for 3 weeks so far out of a guesstimated 4-8 weeks (having had surgery on my left arm which is pretty much useless save for the fact that I can play games with a controller) and just finished a full playthrough of DAI and was like O_O I match my Inquisitor. *Squee!* >.>

I'm most certainly looking forward to the next game. I wonder if there will be possibility to choose ones origin like in origins (pun not intended). I mean like when the player decides to be an elf, to be originally among the Dread wolf's forces and converting due to circumstances. Or the mage could be....I don't know. Tevinter magister in Lucerni. Playing around with why and how did the hero even get to the starting point of his adventure, is the greatest feeling ever. Don't you agree?

It possibly leaves too many variables to deal with if the characters all have an entirely different, playable background story. BUT i'd still love to see that ingame since I really enjoyed that feature in Origin ^_^;

I can see a few things being very likely and some being very unlikely if they did go the same route with having a backstory. If they do a backstory at least like in Inquisition, I could see a warrior/rogue human being a mercenary or holding some other similar role, and a mage being of altus or laetan origin. I find it hard to believe that Dorian's explanation of Magisters, Altus, Laetan, and Soporati to just be included for shits and giggles. An elf I could see being related to an indebted parent or relative, but possibly not being stuck with that same fate for one reason or another (possessing magic in the case of an elven mage would be one possibility behind not being enslaved). Dwarves I could see having an origin as a surface dwarf from one of the "Foreign Dignitary" houses present within Tevinter. I honestly cannot see Qunari being involved at all as a playable race in the next game simply because Tevinter. Duh. I might have missed something but this is my take on the races and possible backstories at this moment. Edit: I just noticed these comments are 5 years old...

I wish they allowed our elf inquisitor to ask, what will happen to the elves of this world and the ones following him? The way solas speaks on his plan on that part sounds like dialogue only writen for non-elf. Also kinda felt bad for Josie to in my latest playthrough... my elven inquisitor already intended to disband the inquisition but there was no option to tell her to stop fighting so hard to keep it going. Solas also still assumes you intend to continue it.

Dorian becomes a magister. Pity his father was murdered. He's nearly got his wish, that Dorian would follow in his footsteps and take his seat in the Magisterium. Now all Dorian needs to do is marry some girl, a lesbian perhaps, who'd have no more use for him than he would her, so long as she belongs to an influential family or faction that would support Dorian's reforms. Then all they'd need to do is magically produce a child, an heir, between them and daddy would have had all his dreams come true for Dorian. Sorry but even if only a fraction of any of that came true for him, it would make him one hell of a hypocrite. I hated the Trespasser DLC, for a variety of reasons and this was one of them.
