@@RazorSharp75426 all good. A few years back there was this huge controversy covered by many commentary channels. Betterhelp doesn’t use licensed therapists, so there were and still are to this day, endless complaints about the quality of the service. As such, these “therapist” are recommending awful advice because they’re basically average joes. On top of that, they say in the TOS that they can sell your info. Info that real therapists would literally go to jail for, if they were to talk about it outside of your sessions. In fact I just did a quick google search to find that betterhelp was docked $7M by the FTC for sharing customer data lol. I’m unfortunately not telling the full story here though, I’m missing a bunch of info since it’s been ages but TLDR: morally bankrupt, and in some ways, definitely illegal.

The positives of the Supercars format is that there is no win and your in for either to get into the finals or in the rounds. It is based on the season points, and could only give like 1 "undeserving" driver a spot in the playoffs from winning the Enduro Cup because it is unlikely the Sprint Cup champion would fall from 1st to 11th in the 2 Enduro races. The other positive is the Final 4 is across 3 races and not 1 which removes alot of the luck from the races as they can't just win off 1 good race they still need to show atleast some consistency to win the championship.

Ok, there´s some details about the DTM finale that you didn´t mention, I´ll use some parts from motorsport week because I´m not the best with english writing. Van der Linde escaped unharmed and into third place after destroying Lawsons race, but spectators were left baffled as he was only served a meager five second penalty for leaving the track. No further punishment was handed down, meaning that the collision with Lawson went completely unpunished. Van der Linde, logically sensing an opportunity now that Lawson had been reduced to a moving roadblock, stayed aggressive throughout but fate ultimately caught up with him when a sideways swipe at Götz (the other title contender) left him spinning out with a puncture. With Van der Linde out of the way and Götz seemingly not able to get to the leading pair of Lucas Auer and Philip Ellis, Lawson would still win the title! But then... Team orders! Worst than that, manufacture orders because they were not even from the same team! Götz had Daniel Juncadella behind acting as a rear gunner, but the two drivers ahead, Auer and Ellis, were also Mercedes drivers, much like Götz. And so Ellis and Auer slowed down significantly in the closing stages, allowing Götz through. Götz won the race and the title. It was SO bad!!!

That 2008 ARCA race where Scott Speed got took out by Stenhouse and Allgaier won the title was my #1. This championship race has now taken that mantle.

Idk if anyone will agree, but if NASCAR keeps a one race championship, they should make it that whoever has the most points from the race wins. I don’t wanna see someone who lays back all race come back and win against someone who won every stage and most laps. And a win doesn’t lock a championship

My gf and i had just started dating a couple weeks before the championship weekend and i invited her over to watch this race with me. I sincerely apologized that she had to see this race. It was pathetic. But its all good. She watches Nascar with me, has a favorite driver (Christopher Bell), and i got to take her to her first race! The 2024 Yellawood 500! She even keeps up with playoff points

Should of mentioned more about the 3 truck crash that no one got punished for it. Parson dumping Currey was intentional and he kinda admitted after that race. Daniel Dye was collected in this mess as well and he wasn't medically cleared to attempt the Xfinity race the next day. He had to sat that out and have Leland Honeyman fill his spot. Failed to qualify and missed the race. If Im his sponsor or team owner, I would be mad. No one got punished for creating this mess and NASCAR doesn't care. As for the championship, Nascar didn't park Heim for intentionally crashing Hoecevar. What's worse is they penalized Heim just 5 days later. All that should've been settled at the track. Dam of Legitimacy is destroyed with the playoffs and now with officiating being trash to this day just adds the whole new element to it.

And as we saw at Martinsville this last Sunday, Hocevar STILL hasn't learned to be a civil driver. Oh, and that Corey Heim comment aged like milk lol

Unfortunately I saw this race in person and had to witness this shitshow. Was probably the most fed up I’ve ever been at a Nascar race. Even driving back to my Airbnb after this race I’m like wtf was that

The Xfinity championship (which I think was one of the greatest championship races of all time) and the cup race that year make this race look like it was from an iracing lobby.

I am and will always be a die hard hocevar fan. I met him at the 23 Iracing Enascar finals. He was still in trucks. Him and raja caruth ( another goat) just sat around a simulator with some random fans drinking a few beers and goofing off. They both just seemed so incredibly human and nice. We joked about Breal ( it was still a thing) and I photo bombed them. Great times

Why are you saying that Heim winning this is the only fair outcome when Eckes has gained over 100 more points across the season this year?
@BiffGreggle29 күн бұрын
As someone who was recently the VIP guest of a Truck series team and thus caught a glimpse of how things work behind the scenes: the purses for the races these days is utterly pathetic, and costs have never been higher. If you're a team owner, you are pretty much 100% guaranteed to lose money unless you win every race (and even that isn't a sure thing). So it's not at all surprising that the owners often resort to hiring pay drivers of questionable talent...because it's the only way that they can stay afloat.

The real tragedy of that DTM race wasn't the incidents though, because even with those Lawson would've still been champion. It's that two other Mercedes cars on a completely different team slowed right at the end to let Gotz win the race and get the points he needed to overtake Lawson. A win by team orders would've been bad enough, but it being an entirely different team of the same manufacturer just felt plain wrong, especially when half the grid were Mercs and Ferrari only had one team with Lawson and Cassidy. Not remotely a fair fight
