Regarding your question about getting the second hand to point to RC. This doesn’t come across clearly in the manual. To get the watch to wipe Bluetooth and forget the last phone it was paired with (not an uncommon issue for secondhand purchases): - pull the crown to the second click - hold button A for at least 10 seconds - this deletes the pairing information, and the second hand should now point to C - push in the crown - press A to trigger a manual sync - the second hand should point to RC

Apparently all bluetooth-capable Oceanus watches have this same limitation. They all can only perform radio time acquisition if they're not paired with a phone via bluetooth. Various other Casio modules that are solar + multiband + bluetooth do not have this limitation. Perhaps the circuitry is limited due to the module's super-thin design? Anyway, it's a bit disappointing as I do like to set certain things up via the Casio app and might periodically want to reconnect to the watch to tweak things, and I hate having to unpair bluetooth just so it will sync to an atomic clock's radio signal overnight (like WWVB here in the US).

I have Rolexes, Cartier, IWC etc. I bought this because I live in Mexico City and you can be invited to depart from your watch in any corner. I didn’t expect much more than a practical watch. Boy was I surprised. This is not accurate, it is the perfect time every second of the year because it updates with the satellite or your phone. It has perpetual calendar. It can let you find your phone by using the button in the watch. It is beautiful; just stunning. It’s the best watch I’ve had.

It even allows you to micro-adjust the hands and date in case they ever misalign. This review is only a year old and, sadly, I can’t find this particular model (the green version) for sale, new, anywhere.

PURCHASED The T200 last month. Very impressed and love all the compliments I get on it. Will not have to change the battery for over 20 years and it automatically adjust to keep it exactly on time and date. Set it and forget it.

Outstanding review. I nearly spent an awful lot more on an automatic, then I saw this and instantly knew I had to have it. I love your down to earth attitude, the way you understand that we all don't have a thousand bucks to spend on a watch whereas most review talk about them as though they're "must have" items for the average guy while watches like this should be avoided because they are just badly made in comparison, but it's really not the case at all. The finish and build quality is excellent. OK you're going to find a couple of rough edges under macro but who looks at their watches under a microscope? It's absurd. Save your money guys and get one of these, fantastic design with reliability and accuracy that two thousand dollar watches can only dream of. I'm not knocking luxury watches, I would love a really high end Vacheron Constantin or a Jaeger-LeCoultre (I've probably spelled those wrong), but when it comes to something like an everyday watch that's going to get scratched and so on, what's the point of buying something like a Tudor Black Bay for 15x the price of a Seiko 5 Sports that is well made, reliable and looks the same for well under £200? It doesn't make any sense to me at all.

Hey Greg, you may try to turn off Bluetooth on your phone and then press the receiving button on the watch for it to try to receive the atomic time signal instead of the Bluetooth signal.

How to unpair the watch / delete pairing information from watch / set to radio signal reception (RC), even after having set up a Bluetooth connection: Pull out the crown to position 2 and hold A for more than 10 seconds. Then push the crown back all the way in. Now hold A for 0.5 seconds, and you'll see the second hand point to 'RC' and no longer 'C' the first time. To re-enable Bluetooth, hold 'A' for 2.5 seconds, until the second hand points to 'C'.

Rolex submariner oyster bracelet fits this watch perfectly. possibly even better then it original bracelet. I used this with a glide lock clasp. Absolutely perfect watch now.

Great watch but I prefer the digital display and the simplicity of mine GW-M5610U. As you say, digital watches have a lot more functions in them. But of course it goes with the suit this Oceanus it will by better. Thank You Greg.

To get the watch to stop going to C and never RX even after unpaired from phone I finally found a solution. I went though the whole adjustment procedure using the watch. Hands home position, and date home position then set my time zone, current time date year and month manually. Bingo next time after the Y N the second hand went straight to RX.

Didn't work for me. What worked for me was holding 'A' for longer than 10 seconds in manual-time-setting-mode (crown-position 2) and then, after pushing the crown back in, holding A for 0.5 seconds, pointed the watch's second hand to 'RC' again and no longer 'C'. Note that this unpairs your watch from the smartphone, meaning the watch forgets your smartphone's Bluetooth adapter's MAC address. You'll have to repair your watch if you want it to use Bluetooth again, like you did the first time when connecting the watch to your smartphone.

I am way late to this video and this watch and completely struck by this beauty. This green T200 is stunning in my eye and the video photography is excellent. Stumbled on this while searching this watch and found this model is out of production and sold out everywhere. I own a Oceanus 100 so not unfamiliar with the line, however mine is 20 years old and needs a battery replacement. Any chance you would sell? Or any expert advice on locating a new or slightly used OCW-T200S-3AJF? Cannot get enough in green! Thanks.

Hi Greg think I an help, to change to atomic reception hold the small button in for a few seconds until second hand points to 12 o’clock then it’s changed to atomic reception to change back just connect via your app

No. The truth is I never sell watches. I have seen a few of these that are still on eBay but, as you probably know, they’re very expensive now.

If you turn your Bluetooth off, after 24 hours of inactivity it will pickup the radio signal. You will see a Y only in the morning however, because it I will try every 6 hours for the Bluetooth. Otherwise you musst unpair the Bluetooth to receive normally radio signal. I hope I helped you with this.

I got all the way to 16:23. Observing this procedure all I could think was "Oh, hell no". Basic Casio digital watch for everyday carry, and a simple time-only analog watch when required.

These watches work with Bluetooth or RC..Greg was showing the procedures if you can't access either (0.01% of people) so don't worry. I have the blue face version of this watch it's amazing. Oceanus are so good they've killed my interest in mechanical watches.

This is not a dig on Greg, but he is very techie and skipped one of the major things about Oceanus watches, and that is the finishing. They use Zaratsu polishing, which is the same technique used on Grand Seiko watches. It is mind boggling-beautiful. As he said, the rumor in the watch world is that GS and Oceanus watches are handmade in the same facility. There are videos on KZbin of the facility. I bought the blue one 3 years ago. I have never used the manual settings. The bluetooth and MB6 does it all for me. I have since purchased the S5000 Manta and P2000 Cachalot watches. All three are fantastic watches. The new app takes some getting used to, but it does some cool stuff.
