I was interested in a titanium Oceanus but it was a bit out of my budget. So i bought a Lineage LCW-M100TS instead, and my god this watch is gorgeous and has much more features. I sometimes put a nato strap which transform it from a very light to a super light watch at 40g only. For those who want to try titanium, try this one instead!

Agree.... That was my case, but instead LCW-M100TS, I got LCW-100T. Because even LCW-M100TS was above my budget, and I got The LCW-100T second hand. Same function minus Count down timer, but better in Over all lay out symetry. 😅

Just received one of the black faced S100 from Japan. For a watch that is intended for the Japanese domestic market, I was surprised to see CE and UK approval marks etched on the case back. Clearly production is still current and in full swing. Beautiful looking watches for the price and truly set and forget pretty much forever.

I figure that regular viewers expect synchronized watches in my videos so it’s one of those details that I check before the camera starts recording. I forgot to synchronize the tan-color, big digit watch I used for a size comparison at the last part of the video. Sorry about that. It was a few seconds off.

I have this watch, although I have not seen one with roman numerals before, it is my best and most expensive watch, and I find it absolutely brilliant, the integrated bracelet doesn't bother me as I paid a premium for Titanium I'm happy to keep it, the only negative is only 2 micro adjustments but you do have half links which are a big help, and when you are adjusting the bracelet it is a pin and collar which for the first time I found a little stressful but with patience I did it...stay safe

So nice to see a watch of this caliber(no pun intended) in a video of you. This model is one of the watches that I have considered as a grail watch but decided against it because of the integrated center links that make it next to impossible to put it on a band. I am still very curious how you experience it.

Some folks really like that OCW-T200 model because it looks a lot like this (maybe with different color choices) and you CAN easily put on a bracelet, strap or band of your choice.

Im late to comment, but im still gonna voice my opinion. Everywhere ive read about this watch, thats the only downside to this watch. For me, its not a problem, but some people prefer nato. I've been considering one of these in the black dial, but when I saw this review I knew this version was the one I wanted. Mine was also purchased used, but frankly, it looks nearly new. I'm so pleased with the intelligence of how the watch functions, as well as the fit and amazing finish. The bracelet is very comfortable and the watch wears beautifully. I love having the markers hit every time, and the roman numerals at 12 and 6 really work for me. The multiband 6 adjusts the time overnight, every night, which is great. Someone said this watch has no soul; perhaps not, but it has everything else. I appreciate the in-depth review you gave on this watch. Enjoy it!

I totally agree with your buying philosophy and I just ordered the T200, largely based on your review. This looks like another great watch that would not look out of place in a collection of watches costing £5000 each. Madness in my opinion. I get why wealthy people buy the really expensive high end brands which often have a unique design, but when you're buying something that looks the same as a watch costing 1 to 5k or so, what's the point? Sapphire is sapphire, it's extremely hard wearing and while watch geeks always claim you get far better quality coated stell or titanium, look at worn Rolex's and the like, they still scratch. My last Citizen stopped working after 15 years but it doesn't look any worse than any high end watch I've seen that has been used daily. The Oceanics look like great watches at prices that are not going to get you into trouble if things go wrong and look the part too, crazy that Casio don't sell them outside of Japan.

I personally won’t wear GShock. However, my 7 year old had been wanting a watch because he sees me wear them. I actually put my Grand Seiko on him and it looked good. Ironically I could have removed enough links to fit his wrist. I just couldn’t see sending him to school with a watch that I paid $2,400 for. It was quartz which over time after having watches running at 4hz I just don’t like the quartz movement of second hand. I have Tudor I wear mainly. The watch I wear for outdoors that I don’t care if it gets messed up because it was pretty cheap is my Tissot PRX80 auto. I do love that watch and it was pretty cheap. My Hamilton is really nice too but it’s so heavy. I actually found this video because I saw this watch on Amazon and eBay like you have but I’m blue dial. Looks like the white is better looking. Just not sure I can buy a quartz watch though. Tough decisions

Hi Greg, I own a Oceanus T200. I am an occasional diver but I do not go very deep. Would it be worth buying a Duro for whenever I dive, so I do not damage a $450 watch, or do you trust the T200 for swimming/ occasional scuba diving?
