Boston is my home airport. Whenever I fly into Boston I try to grab a window seat on the left side of the aircraft in hopes we'll be landing on 04L or 04R ... beautiful view of the city on your left on that approach.

Flew to Boston via Reykjavik from the 🇬🇧 a few times. I always wondered where we circled/stacked. Would it be the back bay area or further east?

East of Back Bay is basically the financial district and the North End. Probably circled over Braintree

That looked like Blue Hill in Milton area at 2:30, which I could see as a kid from Arlington Heights; from Nahant to Blue Hill.

@@josebro352 Hey bro, don't remember where Jnnys Food master was, but I lived on Coolidge Rd. My friend and I used to walk down to the penny candy store on Mass Ave on Saturdays... Small world. This was in the 60s.

@@stylus2253 Cool!! Yeah the Johnnie's Foodmaster was right where the Whole Foods is now. On Mass Ave across from the church. I actually grew up in Cambridge but had friends and family in Arlington Heights on Sylvia Street and pretty much hung out there all the time. This was in the 80s. Do you remember Nicola Pizza? Or the Melsose Spa? Luigi's in Arlington Center and the Capital Theatre? We used to take the #77 bus into Harvard Square sometimes too. Good times back then. Different world.
