Dear Katie, I know you uploaded this video over 6years ago but I just wanted to let you know how happy I am finding it today. I inherited the Elna sewing machine from my mom when she passed away and I didn't have anything or anyone to ask about the basics.. looking at your tutorial is really helpful. I have this very model and I constantly have problems with the thread jamming the bobbin case. Now I took it apart and can't seem to remember how that whole bobbin box is put together. I need a clear drawing of how to assemble. I've looked for a repair manual and can't find one. Help. I think I should in 1974 just bought a singer simple no bells or whistles machine. Mary Ann

Nice video, but is a shame it doesn't continue :) I thought, just after the tread showed at minute 3:25 and just before the tread guide (left or right), there are a litttle piece of metal (horizontal) where the line should pass through...

I don't know what is wrong with my sowing machine elnita , I put the tread on the nettle and I start to sow and there is no tread on the nettle eny more I change nettles and is the same problem.
