My dear mother who passed away in August of 2018, was born in 1942. I was born in 1962. I was born 2 days before her 20th birthday, on 12-24! Now she is the one who introduced me to ELO! IT was this song!!!! She had it blaring on the stereo!! I about fell over! I had no idea that my Mom was darn cool. I was in junior high when she did this!!! This song, I dedicate to my mother! Some day, hopefully we will rock in heaven with Jesus together! Thanks for great music!!!! Bless you for posting!!! Made my night!!! @@NeonCoffeeCat I think most people know that, but Jeff Lynne wrote and composed almost all of the ELO hits (apart from the early Roy Wood songs), he plays several instruments, is an extremely good guitarist and he produced, played and sang on albums not only for ELO, but also for Paul McCartney, Del Shannon, George Harrison, the Travelling Wilburn's and Tom Petty. You don't get to do that unless you're very talented. So yes, quite underrated.

I forget how great this band was and is…….you know, you would hear one of these songs at least once every half hour on the radio every day……I dunno, I was into a lot of the other music that was out at the time…..I played drums from 1965 to 2000 in a shitload of bands…….from the midwest down to New Orleans and around the south and then back to the midwest. Now I'm out west….Anyway, you would hear ELO on the radio, and I would change the channel for something more rock or whatever……..Now, watching and listening to these staples…..songs you would hear over and over every day….maybe it's seeing the whole band and those beautiful women….and seeing that incredibly unbelievably beautiful woman singing harmony with Jeff Lynne……it just blows my mind…..fantastic….I'm in Love…...
