Elon Musk, Australian Lawmaker Want To Jail Each Other After Row Over Church Stabbing Videos

Elon Musk took on the Australian govt after it ordered X to stop showing videos of a bishop in Sydney being stabbed. Australian govt and lawmakers believe the stabbing videos led to tensions in the community, could encourage terrorism and damage young users. A 16-year-old has been charged with terrorism for attacking a bishop during service in Sydney on April 15. Musk even got into a spat on X after an Australian lawmaker suggested he should be jailed for claiming Australia wanted to censor the internet. Watch the video to know more.

While I agree with you there, but X is a company operating on US turf and has to comply with its laws. So it's a hard one. A country has its rights to protect information should it come out of its grounds that is unwarranted. It threatens their beliefs (security, racial and religious harmony).
