@@Returntonature145 Everyone is aware of the issue. 🙄 Musk is a vile opportunist using this for his own agenda. Some people are blind to his behaviour & his interference in other countries politics. Do you really think billionaire Musk ( or Farage) cares about the victims? Bet he doesn't even know anything about the inquiries.
@brockit7916 күн бұрын
My problem with Musk is that he's weaponising this for the wrong reasons - he doesn't care about the abuse victims, he wants an extreme Right in power because that in turn brings him more power, quite sick really. I agree with you though, the Tories let it slide just as much as anyone.
@laurameszaros954716 күн бұрын
Not true that the Tories are equally to blame for this. Most of the abuse has taken place in Labour controlled areas, as the young lady clearly pointed out. And Starmer, as DPP, almost certainly has things to hide. Priti Patel, during the last administration, actually wanted an enquiry into the grooming gangs, but was thwarted from doing so by her civil service chiefs, who are all captured by the same globalist, multiculturalist agenda as most on the left of centre have been for many years. It's certainly true that Tories are also to blame, no denying that. But Labour have far more to lose by enabling a close investigation with strong statutory powers to summon witnesses on oath than the Conservatives do.

Why do you think he isn't just outraged by this, and that's why he's speaking about it, what's your evidence?

Because the politicians of the country made minorities an influential political "instrument", a "tool". The assumption is "minorities need extra care, protecting, budgets, extra everything", because they were "oppressed" at some point in history and now must be "compensated" for it. It's politically correct and beneficial to favor minorities. And if minorities are breaking the law, politicians are trying not to acknowledge that because it would reflect badly on their policies and them as politicians. That logic applies to any country which is liberal democracy.

The Tories are guilty of not implementing the recommendations, but labour are up to their neck in this for covering it up and allowing it to continue. Multiple labour councillors new about it and did nothing. The last inquiry did not focus on this nearly enough, mentioning Rotherham only once and not even mentioning grooming gangs at all. This is a disgusting stain on our history as a country and absolutely needs to be thoroughly investigated and all responsible brought to justice

Is it safe for children to be out on the streets alone. I think not. What a brave women, but shouldn’t have happened to her in the uk. Uk is a scary unsafe country

Because people are too 'British" and 'minding their own business' to be willing to take notice. I'm glad that my lovely - unusual - mother was willing to take notice more than once of a child looking lost or upset. Once, it was just a little girl crying because she had wet herself. I was only about 7 myself, and was embarrassed, but Mum took her home and washed out her pants, gave her clean ones, and took her home. It's called human decency. My father called her a busy-body, was much more 'British' - and much less decent. Bless you, Mum.

What those girls have gone through is nothing sort of tragic and disgusting. It has always been able to be stopped by the police and social services, and others , unfortunately there has been no will to stop it for fear of upsetting one group of people. It’s an utter disgrace that these girls have been left to their fate, even sometimes arrested instead of the perpetrators. Those who were in a position to stop it right from day one should be severely punished. There’s absolutely no excuse for allowing such barbarism to have continued!

Elon has done nothing. Why doesn’t he attack trump and Epstein? He’s 12 years too late. He knows nothing about it. Starmer changed many things to get the prosecutions for. U want these laws in like the tories could have done or the government now that is implementing the report

They also don’t want to highlight that Tommy was right along and he was persecuted for telling the truth. And being right about the Syrian boy which the council paid everyone off.

Where's all the LBC followers blaming Elon Musk gone? Are you just being quiet or have you caught up now?
@joeybally190214 күн бұрын
Caught up on what? I really feel for this lady, and all the others, but there were several different enquiries, and lots of recommendations. The conservative government didn't enact 1 single recommendation. Where was Elon Musk back then? How shameful and blatant are the conservatives for jumping on this obvious bandwagon, when they did nothing whilst they were in power

What isnt fair ..is people like my self who have never stopped speaking up along with thousands of others ... and kier calls it a bandwagon ..the more you look into the facts of this case over decades you will see why an inquiry needs to happen. Its bugging me why it is kryptonite to starmer

Keir Starmer said the Conservatives were jumping on the bandwagon, as they knew all this was happening and when in power for 15 years they did nothing and now suddenly when in opposition and after Musk of all people drew attention too it all, its now a big deal, that's what he meant when he said bandwagon. And after just 5 months of being in Government Labour are already implementing what the already done enquires said, Tories didn't do anything in 15 years.

A public enquiry that would take 5 years ➕️ to complete and at a cost of £200 ➕️ much simpler to implement what the first enquiry found out. Something the Tory government didn't do for 15 years, Labour in 5 months have already started....
@alfredlovesey855315 күн бұрын
They literally didn't, they voted against what is known as a wrecking amendment that the conservatives used as a cheap trick to get them to vote against it. If the amendment calling for a national enquiry had passed, this wouldn't actually start a national enquiry, all it would do is scrap the entirety of the proposed legislation, which includes provisions designed to protect children; what the conservatives are saying their actions are designed to do, when they are playing politics with this issue that they didn't address when they were in power.
@tonymcfeisty247812 күн бұрын
you obviously haven't read the amendment, it has been leaked, look it up, it would have killed the bill designed to protect children. Tories trying to prevent the protection of vulnerable children who'd have thought it.

I correctly predicted that before Labour took power their cosying up to the Muslim vote would eventually be their undoing. In the case of Jess Phillips, I believe that is now about to come to pass.
