I’m not a fan of Elon Musk (honestly, his arrogance rubs me the wrong way), but I’ve always been drawn to the idea of tiny homes on small properties (minus the Tesla logos, of course!). It really aligns with my mix of libertarian and social ideals. Plus, they leave a smaller environmental footprint. Amazon sells tiny homes. It’s funny, though, how owning a tiny home is made so difficult by all these rules and regulations. It almost feels like society has a vendetta against independence and autonomy and comfort. “Forced unity” such as in large apartment complexes is the fake mantra we’re all supposed to follow. It’s as if being self-sufficient and living simply is somehow threatening to the status quo.
