Before last week’s Tesla earnings, Elon Musk was scheduled to go to India-but didn’t. This weekend, though, news broke that he had in fact gone to China, to try to negotiate regulatory acceptance for his FSD (full self-driving) system. (It’s not actually full self-driving.) half the Tesla cars globally are made in Shanghai. The Shanghai factory is the reason he didn't go bankrupt in early 2019 and get bought out by another car manufacturer.

@@MahanFan1 You say that Tesla is not the leading BEV manufacturer today, so what evidence/information do you have that would suggest that what you’re saying has any validity? So, don’t tell me that it’s BYD, because BYD is at best attempting to copy what Tesla is doing, and so if you’re going to tell me that there’s a manufacturer that is the leading manufacturer in the BEV space, they better be far ahead of Tesla, and not just lagging a little bit ahead in terms of sales, that’s not what I’m talking about here. Tesla is the dominant player here, and worldwide its the leading company/auto manufacturer in the BEV space, as there is no one who has the tech they have, and there’s no one that can out innovate them in terms of implementing the latest technology, and so if you’re just talking about the number of sales, because their cars are heavily subsidized by their government, that’s not what I’m talking about, what I am talking about is long-term dominance in the BEV space for years to come. So it is not likely to be anyone other than Tesla, as Tesla created this space, and they created the space for a reason, and just like if you asked the question about who is the richest person on the planet today, it could be be Elon Musk, it could be Jeff Bezos, it could be Mark Zuckerberg, etc., it just depends on what day their stock is up or their stock is down. So if you’re going to argue that some other auto manufacturer is the dominant player in the EV space, not just based on one year of sales, but based on their presence, their dominance in all sectors of the automotive/tech world, there is no one that’s ahead of Tesla, and I don’t care what anyone else says, because while we’re all entitled to our own opinions, we’re not entitled to our own facts, and you have not provided a single fact that will back up what you just said, and so show me the money.
