I actually prefer this to the original: Lake has a wonderful voice, but the lyrics tend to distract me from the themes. And string quartet in unison, to my ears, sounds more intense than Emerson's Hammond organ. Great playing; think I need to buy this album.

Whilst I appreciate keeping ELP's music alive and making variations of it, I can't say I'm terribly keen on this one - just personal opinion. It doesn't get a thumbs down from me though, excellent musicians and good choice, just didn't really work for me.

I placed the video because I have always wanted since my teenage to see an orchestra played. However I hope to see a day of the ELP played by a orchestra with excellence.
