Such a fun easy character. I only started playing GGST like a month ago. The way I pick a main is I play literally every character for a game. My friends usually let me test their buttons for a minute to see what is what and then we play. From there I just see who I vibe with. Elphelt/Elephant was just it for me along with Sol and Bedman. My only issue with elphelt is she is hard to get wallbreaks with from neutral. She also has to do a lot of work for little damage. But her rekka is super fun and easy also her pressure is insane if you like to press buttons. Anyways I think I am swapping to bedman as my main main but elphelt will still be in my pocket. Something tells me bedman is about to get a major buff next update and I really enjoy him. BUT again I am still very new to the game and my opinions could be total trash. I will be curious to see this comment in a few months after I get better.

I know this is outdated, but is it still a good resource for getting a feel for the character while people figure out her current combos and stuff with the buffs? I’ve never played a fighting game before, but Elphelt’s rushdown mixup playstyle, bludgeoning people with a huge gun just gives me life, so I’m gonna finally make the push.

@@sk3tchyguy Use the roman cancel macro, in training mode press Y on xbox or Triangle on PS or whatever the button shows in the top right to change your controls, there you can bind roman cancel to a single button rather than pressing 3 at once

Depends on the opponents character and playstyle, generally spacing yourself to the point where 5H can hit and bomb can jump over potential pokes is good

Can't play this character anymore with all the sols, slayers, and johnnys running around. Made it to top 15ish on puddle farm with her while losing my sanity. Don't know how you do it. Shes a anti meta character that loses to the meta which is pretty pointless while being in that role. Hate that I wasted my time maining her while my week 1 slayer surpassed her effortlessly. Slayer players span into the game at 2k elo it's ridiculous.
