Gosh I am SO over all these people whining that his voice is shot and he can't sing anymore!! He had throat surgery 25 years ago, and his voice hasn't been tenor/falsetto in a long, LONG time!! Guess what? IT'S EVEN BETTER NOW!!! ELTON is like a fine wine, baby! I looooove his "new" sound! Keep it up, Sir Elton! You get better every year!!

I do open-mic night about once a year. I can tell ya, what you can do in your living room, is about half of what you ending up producing on the night.... just from nerves takin some ability away. Elton is fine. I understand his voice issue as It happened to me last March 2017. Out of nowhere, I lost my voice for 2 months. It happens. Nothing to apologize for or feel sorry for. I'm 63. It's just a matter of getting old. My voice is back but not the same voice that I had, but still a voice. It's difficult to go through the drive thru without a voice. Elton is really doing better than I am.

Yes his voice is not the same but you go to see him cause it's elton john. it's not really his fault, he had a voice operation in 1987 that killed his high notes.

David Stewart Look up goodbye yellow brick road in 1997, he still uses his falsetto. By this point, i think it's totally gone now. But he handles not using a falsetto in his songs pretty well.
