I actually have not heard anything about or by Kiki Dee (music wise) since she originally did that duet with Elton John back in the l70s.

Elton has such a powerful voice, he just sort of mumbles at times and he drowns Kiki out. They both start off a little slow, but gain steam. Must be intimidating singing a duet with a legend like that, but Kiki does great.

I liked the original Seventies version better. It was lighter, more spontaneous. Oddly enough, Elton John's voice seems to have improved over the years while Kiki Dee's voice has faded. Her singing was stronger and more natural a couple of decades ago. Still fun to watch them perform together again though and she's still pretty hot.

JACK KANGAROO i liked the 80's version best. the one live at hammersmith 24th december 1982 its most energetic version its so fast. it was snowing white powder that night. yeah kiki dees voice has weakened alot. elton's voice has aged very well over the decades but now age has took its toll he cant sing very well now compared to a decade ago . this backing track is the live version of this from madison sqaure garden in 2000. its weird seeing elton standing up singing ive only seen him do this 2 or 3 times.

+michael Agreed. Elton's voice improved considerably from his low point in 1987 after his surgery up until the mid to late 1990s. However, the last time I saw him was in Las Vegas in 2011. He sounded like an old drunk and could not even annunciate the words. As a performer, you need to know when it is time to retire, but I have heard his spending habits make it necessary for him to keep doing shows. I will not pay to see him again but I will watch endlessly all the old shows posted here on You Tube, which is the way I want to remember him.

John Nastrom to be quite honest his voice improved a bit compared to the years before. san fransisco 2015 was a good example. he played SNAFF and crock rock nearly the same tempo as he did in the mid 80's. the piano does most of the singing like it has done since the 60's. im seeing him in the UK this year so it will be interesting to see the old queen lol
