If she had not infiltrated the British Royal Family, no one would have ever heard of her. She never did an ounce of charity work beforehand and the day after the divorce was finalized, she dropped 100 charities from her list, keeping only the 6 that brought her the most attention. Of course, she kept the one that you mentioned. She knew too many potential cases, including her last "boyfriend".
