Yes I heard of the song! And I love this song. Actually one of the better one's he had put together in years. As well I had just met Elton days before this concert, and had been his guest on the Jay Leno show. Still no reason for that singer to over dramatize unless he is Italian like me! Hell Nigel isn't moving that much! This guy reminds me of Peter Seller's playing a background player in a movie! LOL

thebikerack, there is a reason the background vocals are very prominent in this song. If you listen to the radio version of the song (not the version featured in the movie), you could notice some familiar sounding "hm have I heard these people before?" voices. This song was meant to be a collaboration that someone didn't get credit for their vocals because of record label politics. The "someone" in question in this case happens to be the Backstreet Boys.

Both Elton and BSB were pissed at how their labels couldn't come to an agreement. But, on the studio version of the song, it's clearly them and their distinct voices. U hear Nick a lot on the na na na part, Brian on byyyye, Howie on Say, AJ on "never" and lots of Kevin in general.

I bet the over dramatic singer in the middle never sang for Elton again!I hate it when the background thinks they are bigger than the whole picture!
