Josh: I hesitate to say it, but I am one of the 'likely millions' of folks SERIOUSLY hampered by the current economic conditions. I hear that the PC manufacturers are experiencing lower sales; and I am confident that "most of us" can relate. There is an ever-DECREASING amount of disposable income available anymore. I haven't bought anything "PC" in YEARS and have no intention of doing so ANYTIME SOON. Unless some new laptop is going to "kiss me", it can do no more than what I already own!!

@@JustJoshTech nvidia is charging alot for those gpus. such performance from any mobile gpus in laptops aren't corresponded to desktop and i should be much cheaper. nvidia has monopoly otherwise laptops with rtx4090 mobile graphics would've started at 2000$, not 3000$

@@JustJoshTech the actual reason there aren't robust sales is more than economic conditions, at this time, manufacturers are over pricing poorly dressed laptops, preventing those like myself from upgrading to new, even though I've been in the market for over a year. My 7 year old, cheapo laptop has 32 gigs of ram, thise laptops are selling for 3x the price, can never upgrade ram and most dressed with 16 gigs ram, that's not acceptable to anyone informed. At the same time undressing these, they're trying to get Apple pricing from PC users used to paying 1/4 for better gear We want laptops that can upgrade, we're not interested in thinner than 1/4 inch, we want big batteries, we want adequate cooling, we need sd card readers If we can't get an upgradable box, then price 32-64 gigs of ram around the 1k mark, you want to sell over 1k you need more than 32 gigs ram unless it can be upgraded I'm convinced these companies are price colluding, charging 1.6k for laptops dressed with 7 year old ram, and qualcomm releasing a beta cpu, 7 year old soldered ram and pricing as if it's top tier. Then all manufacturers solders ram and charges the same 1,6k? This is "troubling" And what is up with removing sd readers? HP I'm looking at you, what the frig. BTW, soldering ram is NOT so the box can be thin, lpcamm2 is thinner, faster and denser, (more capacity) than any soldered ram. The actual reason they're soldering ram is so you shop a new box in a couple of years rather than keep what you have and just upgrade ram. This is a really good luggable. Not a laptop you can put on your lap and do work on for 10 hours, not a desktop, but something you can put in a bag with a charger, mouse and maybe some headphones and being wherever to do serius work

I had an Eluktronics a while ago. It’s great at what it’s designed for, but I thought so so at other things. I got the first Zephyrus G14 instead which is a better all rounder for me

Their tuning reduces the CPU power consumption in heavy tasks only but all that falls apart in daily taks like video playback which they use for the battery test.

14900hx doesn't suffer from that oxidation or voltage damage ? Laptops should come with desktop gpu support like alienware graphics amplifier. Laptops mobile gpu are crap for peformance/price.

If you want "ray tracing" then the RTX 4000 series is what you need and the most budget option of them is the RTX 4050 (6gb vram). Look for options like HP Victus, Asus TUF series, Acer Nitro, Lenovo LOQ and others...
