Is there something wrong with the fact I’m a 49 year old man and love this dang ol video game?My 9 year old asked me to help him on doing some tasks and I created my own character. What a fantastic game!!! I love that New Horizon is teaching a lot of life skills that I know schools aren’t even touching yet. Between working with my own students during this lockdown ,this is perhaps one of the best video games I have across apart from my usual first person shooting games.

bruh... animal city... my heart... City Folk is probably my favorite game. My first was Wild World, my uncle got it for me one Christmas when I got my first DS. I got City Folk on an emulator a few years later since we didn’t have a Wii. City Folk is where I met my best friend Kabuki. I think he moved in after my poor cat passed away. I saw him on the wiki and KNEW I needed him, and he showed up just a few days later. He was my best friend. He also came to my town in New Leaf. And now, after trading, I finally got him in New Horizons. Shit hits hard 🥺

However I'm getting a bit of nostalgia to Drivin' 😢😢😭 I miss the New Leaf era and how basically all my friends had the game and we would play together. Man, 2013-2014 were the days... Now most of my close friends can't afford a switch so no New Horizons for them... Random comment but please read everyone. I had two internet friends. Sam and Puffly. I met them both in New Leaf on the island. I accidentally turned my ds back to factory settings and lost their friend codes. They were both from California. Sams town was named Rose and pufflys was named Puff Town. This is truly making me so nostalgic. Not even the songs specifically, since I never played City Life, but just the whole thing. I grew up with Animal Crossing game, I spent so many hours on it. Keeping an eye out for the time on a Saturday evening, to catch a K.K Slider show, getting a cup of coffee while waiting, the old music. Man. That game really means a LOT to me. And I love ACNH too, I’ve only been playing it for a few days and it’s great. But there’s still something so special about the old versions, especially wild world for me since that’s what I played. I loved city folk as a little kid, my siblings and I would play for hours on end, I can’t remember what the town was called, but my favorite villager was static, once he moved in, I instantly went to meet him and got on his good side, my twin’s favorite was jay and I can’t remember my 2 younger siblings favorite villagers. But it was pure bliss and I’ve loved the animal crossing series ever since.

Im pretty sure its a mix of japanese, english, and random gibberish. One time i heard one of my animals say a whole word in japanese and i was really shocked. Same with english.

Animal City is the City Folk theme. Sadly, whilst you can request Wild World, there is no track of it for your radio :(
