Stale Cupcakes is my absolute favorite Animal Crossing song. It's so peaceful and calming. I have it playing in my ACNH bedroom (the music box version). When my son was a baby (about 2021) I would sometimes play the Aircheck hour long loop in the room where he slept and he seemed to like it a lot.

I use K.K. Choral at the memorial area on my island. I dedicated my island to my cat since he passed away the day after I got my switch and a couple days before I got New Horizons. I go to that area to reflect or calm down, and that song with the waterfalls surrounding it really does something to me that I can't explain. That made me all the angrier (/lh, of course) when Kitty autofilled two days before I could amiibo Bertha in and she was playing that song in her house.

Slider were your teacher, as the Japanese name is "Keke-sensei", "sensei" being a word encompassing a number of professions, but most universally known is "teacher". Note that the album art depicts the girls as wearing sailor uniforms, while the boys are in gakuran. If you've watched anime set in high school, especially a co-ed high school, you've seen both. Which is funny because you're mostly -- outside of a few bits of the list -- just serpentining your way down the list of songs as they appear in a full menu for a music player. If they were in writing order, maybe you could expect to see trends, but this is mostly four songs in alphabetical order, then four songs in reverse alphabetical order, next row forward, next row reverse, etc.. Stale Cupcakes is really "Blue Onigiri". It's like, what is this 4Kids-inspired localization, guys? There's nothing like a stale cupcake, I guess.

Hypno K.K. Is my favorite song. It sounds like that because it’s being played backwards. Normally a note has articulation at the beginning of it and ends much softer. Since hypno kk is backwards the articulation happens at the end of each note which gives it the creepy vibe.

my favourite k.k. songs are as follows: agent k.k., k.k. aria, k.k. ballad, k.k. chorinho, k.k. hop, k.k. house, k.k. lament, k.k. waltz, steep hill and two days ago. out of all these, my all time faves (i can't pick out) are agent k.k., k.k. chorinho, k.k. hop, k.k. lament and two days ago. i LOVE how k.k. chorinho got the attention it deserved. out of all the new songs, it seems to be the most underrated one. it is SUCH. a banger. i love the guitar at the beginning, and then how they key changes (i am a SLUT for minor-to-major key changes, they hit some spot in my brain). i love the latin/spanish-inspired ones in general- k.k. mambo, k.k. samba, k.k. tango, k.k. flamenco, k.k. moody, k.k. milonga, k.k. condor, with exception of mariachi, i don't hate it, i just feel like they could've gotten a lot more creative with it. and k.k. samba gets bonus points for leaning in heavy on the cuíca- one if my favourite instruments.

K.K. "Chorinho" is pronounced shorrinho (nho is very difficult to pronounce but is similar to ño) and is based on the brazillian music genre of the same name, not as popular in other countries as Bossa Nova and Samba but still very neat!!

kk "robot synth" is called that, and also sounds like it'd have lyrics, because it's a reference to "vocal synth" music. it's basically a program that's a digital voice library. kk robot synth has that sound because lots of vocal synth music is usually electronic/j-pop inspired! also, the cover art for it is most likely a reference to hatsune miku, the most popular vocal synth mascot ever.

K.K. Bashment is the clear winner for me. It goes with everything and is just a vibe. I *think* it was a post NH release song so I don't think it's gotten its time to shine yet. I'm offended at the Safari rating though. 😂 That was my favorite in the GC days. I like it a little less since but it's still like an 8/10 for me.

KK space is probably my favorite so it hurt for it get a 5/10 lol. this is the one i usually have playing in my first room, sometimes even multiple rooms. I'm glad KK Ska got recognition tho because that's my other go to song to play.

Hypno kk sounds like the strange but cool but weeird Adventure Time background music. Kk forest made me tear up a little from the nostalgia haha. KK Rider is legit. Sometimes I play its Smash Bros version when I drive, haha. KK Ballad still plays in my sisters house on our original Gamecube village. I have KK Condor in my house. The cover of KK Condor has the Nazca Lines which is a South American giant geoglyph. The cover art of KK Break reminds me of Funkadelic album art. KK Faire cracks me up. I like kk Groove a lot. Kk parade honestly i love it. I play polka when im in a weird Al mood. Everybody polkamon! Kk Western is one of my very favorites, haha. Two Days Ago and Only Me are good. Surfin kk was the one my mom put in her house. To The Edge my sis and I joked was someone farting and casually whistling it away

k.k. moody, k.k. swing, and cafe k.k. are my long time faves but i really like two days ago because it used to play in the house of my fave villager (olivia) in older games and also it reminds me of music from the 60s which i associate with my dad and listening to in my childhood. also i love k.k. bossa and disco because they’re just universally accepted as absolute bangers. somehow i’m not a big fan of bubblegum but it’s probably because i was an ac fan in 2020 and i couldn’t escape that song 😭

i think that noise is supposed to be the music box reversing to play it again, but it's always been super scary to me as well😭 it sounds like something is coming to attack me lol
