You always nail these Eluveitie covers, good job. Any tips for whistlers looking to improve their speed?

You should totally try to play the song slow first. When I learn a song I always put it down to maybe 40 Bpm and then trying to remember the different parts. It doesn't make sense to play the song when you dont have all notes in your head. Play the parts over and over again....yes sometimes I play one part about 50-100 times but then I make sure to have it in my mind. When you feel compfortable to play in the speed you are, you can just rise the tempo up step by step for maybe 10 Bpm until you reach to the very end. Thats how I do it but I think everyone has his own way to learn that. And also one tip: DONT LIFT YOUR FINGERS UP TOO MUCH! Thats a mistake I also still do but when you lift them up too much the way back to the hole is too long and your playing gets sloppy. Even if the movement maybe looks more cool It doesn't help you to play faster :)!

@@Hylianmusik That's great advice, thank you! Lifting my fingers too much is something I do as well, and sometimes holding the whistle too tightly when I try to play fast :) I'm going to slow some of the tunes down that I've been trying to learn and just practice practice!
