Cmon, it's almost impossibile not seeing the "pop revolution" of 60% of most of the bands in the last 5 years.. Just pay more attenction to the music you hear, the used sonorities ,the chosen style.. It's all behind that, and it's becoming empty.. Those Eluveitie had a great inspiration from celtic, gaelic, medieval kind of music.. If you listen 'em now, you will find out a "folk metal" made with standard style, free (obviously it won't sound like it is) from any kind of musical contamination... I hope you did understand me , i don't know if my english is almost good to explain those kind of stuff ^^

Alright guys, check out Ivo Henzi's solo project Forest of Fog. It sounds a lot like Eluveitie minus the folk part, the new song at least. Maybe cause he did a lot of songwriting for Elu. Anna also got a solo project and the three of them (Ivo, Merlin and Anna) also formed a new band, Cellar Darling.
