Don't know if this is a graphics mod or if it only applies to some units, but I love that the HE armour is fluted and engraved instead of being gilded. Gilding looks cool when it accents armour with small, elaborate patterns - but the HE models in TW have these large chunks of gold awkwardly taking up half the armour - which looks weird to me. Mostly though, I love how the shields are decorated with random heraldry - since HE spearmen are levies it makes sense that the shields would have family crests or the heraldry of their local lord on them.

Beautiful battle. As usual the black guard is the last standing ^^ I was surprised to see the hydra die so quickly but facing spearmen and phenix guard... Without music it's cool either. But if I can suggest, Danheim could be a great musical background. "Ivar's revenge" :) see your videos soon!

I mean.. hydra are a large units. Spearmen is a cheap melee infantry but pretty decent against large units with their spear range. And phoenix guard are elite halberdiers, they are armour piercing (right ?). So its not suprising the Hydra die because of some anti large melee infantry

Lel stop living in fantasy I can play anyone here in head to head campaign as dark elves and they wont make it pass 80 turns. There's no outcome that high elves would survive.
