Happy to see a DAC campaign. Just some friendly advice, rely on your generals in melee more! Bodyguard units automatically recover soldiers over time, and their stats (especially for Elves or Dunedain) let them cut through hundreds of foes. Use them wisely, but definitely commit them more often, especially early game. Good luck!

Dol Guldur will swamp you unless you deal with them quickly. The actual settlement of Dol Guldur is SO powerful for them - once it’s gone they basically have no effective power (except from the doomstack)

keep in mind that in this game farms are a better early economic building than markets, use Celeborn and Haldir in melee, they will reck almost all of the early game units, build the mason guild that faster building and reduction in cost is something really really good for you

As elves, you have to focus on economy early games as units are expensive. And as lothlorien, u will most likely have to play defensive against the first few waves of orcs

Reinforcements: Reinforcements come from the squares next to the defensive army (battlemap), EXCEPT in the case of the sally-out, since then obviously the battlemap is centered on the settlement. This is why those other elves were too far to reinforce. If they had attacked the enemy army, the settlement would have reinforced, as the battlemap would have centered on the orc army.

Well, there was a host of strategic errors, perhaps the worst of which was not building rams and attacking Erui ASAP. Those archers would have slaughtered the defenders, just as happened later, but now it took around a total of ten turns (or so) to first besiege Erui into sallying out (as the unique settlement doesn't have a gate, the sally-out is bugged out) and then to recover from the bankruptcy. Those lost ten-ish turns right at the start, combined with the slow start in general and the loss of so many elven lives to defend Caras Galadhon, means that the mid-campaign is going to be harder than it should be. On the positive side, it should lead to an even harder campaign, which means an interesting one!

If you haven’t played the Age of the Ring overhaul for BFME2 Rise of the Witch King, you should. The campaign is absolutely amazing. It would make for a great play through. Tons of more content, factions, mechanics, and not to mention all the other features the mod does.

It's going to be a complex campaign with the Elves of Lothlorien, it will be interesting to see how you manage to progress with a slow economy and limited recruitment capacity; on the other hand, it was a very unpeaceful start for the area in which this elven kingdom is located.
