What an interesting product! I’ve never heard of it, only the Haaka! I only use my Haaka the first few weeks after baby is born, so I may try the curve the next time around! My baby moved so much when I would wear the Haaka it came off more then it stayed on! And when you went to transfer the milk I was holding my breathe bc I swear I thought it was about to spill! 😂

It’s pretty new! Yeah I like the idea behind the haaka, but get way too nervous using it so this is much less stressful. 😊

Thank you! I had bought the elvie breast pumps off of a friend but I had no idea about the one that’s like a haaka! That seems way more convenient to keep in your purse and throw in your bra as an emergency let-down pump.

It’s pretty new! Yeah it would be great for that! I have the Willow wireless pump as well, it’s so convenient!

The elvie curve, do you know for how many minutes I can wear it? Is it good to use to stimulate the body to produce more milk to express or the pump is better?
@LifeWithElizabeth3 жыл бұрын
It will only collect much milk while the other side is also releasing milk, so while baby is nursing or if you pump on the other side. Probably about 30 minutes would be the most you’d want to use without a break so it doesn’t start to hurt. It will stimulate bit but probably not as much as a pump. It’s also much easier than getting a pump out, so I like it for when I don’t have the energy to pump and baby will just nurse one side. If you leak while not nursing (I did for a few months with my first baby but not my second) and want to collect that there are shells you can stick in your bra. They will not increase supply, just collect the leaks. These are the ones I used: www.amazon.com/dp/B07DH6VK3C/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apip_iviEABWa2KE7o

@@LifeWithElizabeth hi great review, I'd like to know could you use elvie curve without baby nursing on one side? For instance during the night can you just place on both breasts at the same time, without spectra or baby, and just let both the curves do it's job? I just bought two curve and didn't notice there was a difference in them until I opened the box.

@@lisachalmers7078 Thanks! It works best with one Elvie curve on one side and a baby or pump on the other side creating a letdown, but you might get some milk with both of them at the same time, especially if you leak a lot. I would probably not keep them on with suction for more than 20-25 minutes at a time or you could get sore or blisters. With my first baby I leaked a lot the first couple months!

I just had my baby I did buy this I tried it don't work for me . Should I use it while breastfeeding?
@LifeWithElizabeth3 жыл бұрын
Yes, use it on the side you're not breastfeeding on! 😊 That should work, and make sure there's a seal and pressure, you might need to push the front in again after a few minutes.
