All lyrics are on point for our father/daughter relationship. She may not be my biological blood daughter, but she is my daughter, and I will always cherish that moment we danced at her wedding. I’ve been looking for this song for 22 years! My daughter, well her mother was already expecting, when we started dating, the biological dad split for his own reason. Well after some time her mother and I split and well 20 years later she still calls me dad, nothing has ever changed, she knows the story and doesn’t care!!! I am Momma to my bonus Daughter. She has one Mom and one Momma. And I'm telling you this song is facts even for us "step moms." I've been ruining my rarely seen eyeliner for the last 15 minutes listening to this. I love that baby like she's my own. I feel HONORED that she calls me Momma.
