I have always loved this video! I've been an Oaks fan since the early '70s. I remember that muscle shirt Austin had. It was from the "Deliver" tour in '84. I also LOVE hearing the inside info on the video! Thanks for doing these! Your insight is PRICELESS!

at first i was like 'he's reacting to his own song' but now i see you offering insights and stories into what happened and its way more interesting for us this way! i often wondered just how much fun you guys had doing that and i mean what we couldn't see on camera. it seemed so natural! so i take back my initial reaction and say this is a great idea! i loved this song when i was little and also the group sha na na mostly for the bass guys i guess. now i can appreciate every part but that's what drew me to them! thank you for doing this reaction!

Funny thing is I never cared for the song way back when. When y’all recorded with the ORB’s I loved it! I really enjoyed it! I also loved that chord at the end of the bridge! That was awesome. Thanks for the details. I almost got a tour in their rig just a couple years ago here in Ft Myers, Fl. I was driving south on I-75 one day and in the exit lane to head towards Cape Coral. Apparently they wanted to head that way also and missed getting into the off ramp for it. That rig jumped over in front of me and I went off the shoulder of the road to avoid them hitting me. Saw the logo on the bus and trailer it was pulling. Had no idea they were performing here and found where it was and went and enjoyed one hell of a show.

But watching a reaction done by someone who is in the video is a whole different thing. I've seen their bus, they performed at an outdoor venue last year in August back in the sticks in Virginia the night before Home Free did, I was there for Home Free and didn't see the Oaks concert though. Their bus was very fancy though.

Definitely one of my Home Free favorites. Bet it was fun workin' with the legends. That tenor of theirs sounds like he could part your hair @ ten feet, Austin also definitely sounds like he could, that is one BRIGHT voice, thought the yodeling like stuff he did in the one song was awesome, too. No WONDER I liked the sound on that one, two mics, what a concept. Actually I can TELL how much you liked doing it by the 'doo eating' grin on your face. Here's betting it's something you tell your kids and grand kids about far down the road, if life takes you down that pathway. Thanks for taking the time to give us some back story. VERY cool. Thank you again for another good, informative video. The Oak Ridge Boys were one of my favorite groups as a kid. I did actually get to see them live. Probably what started my love for harmony, acapella and barbershop. It is amazing how Joe still has that powerful of a tenor voice.

I know this video is nearing a year old now and I cannot believe that I didn't know until now that you had a youtube channel, that's so frustrating but I'm glad I stumbled across it now lol! I absolutely LOVE Home Free, one of their biggest fans since the early days and this video has made my day! I have binge watched all of Home Free's songs, old and new, and finding something like this is a gem in my book, listening to your insight on the making of the video and just some of the funny things that went on while you were shooting it and all that, it's so much fun to learn more about artists that you watch religiously like this! Chris, back in the day, after I had watched the latest Home Free video several times, to just breathe it in and love it, I would go back again a couple more times to watch the video... to watch you. And that's because you always had so much enthusiasm, it made me happy to watch JUST you! I loved your smile, your bounce, your voice, and your humility! Loved this, and this is also a video you can watch a 1000 times and never gets old. I would love to see that selfie. I think about it every time I watch it. Chris, do you and the other guys ever go to each others concerts? I imagine it must be fun seeing how they're doing, and for them to experience your solo projects, however I imagine you're all crazy busy. Hey Chris! Great reaction video and comments. I will bet you already know this, but some of your fans may not. The music and lyric sound for this song is taken from an old gospel song called "Go Jonah" taken from the Bible. If you look on KZbin, you can find a few videos of it, plus one gospel group hamming it up and throwing a few lines from "Elvira" in it for comedy effect! I'd like to see your reaction to that! Please keep doing the stuff with your sister as well. I hope you will both have a stable lineup of singers for a long time. I have been really enjoyed your music with musical accompaniment lately as well! Could you have someone in your family marry someone in mine? We have so little musical talent!
