in her book , she tells elvis after he woke up that she was leaving him. In this movie, she tells him before he goes on stage and makes the insinutation that the reason she's leaving is because there's no place for her in her life. Sonny west claimed in his book that in 71, he was driving to 1 of elvis' CA homes and no one was there when he arrived. Shortly after being there, Cilla and Mike Stone arrived. Thinking they were alone, they walk in the door,saw Sonny and Cilla nearly shit.

He was reading the Bible which is good. But maybe she should have reminded about one of the commandments. "Thou shall not commit adultery." No woman would ever have been able to withstand being taken for granted all the time while he was off cheating while on tour. It's no wonder she sought attention elsewhere. For some odd reason he couldn't be intimate with her after having a baby. How does he think women had babies through a stork? Maybe some of his friends should have reminded him that it wasn't right to take her for granted and that he was bound to lose her if he kept it up. And that it was wrong to sleep with those women while on tour. He was married and had a responsibility and to respect Priscilla more. They perhaps may have gotten fired but at least they would have stood up for what is right, rather than stay silent. When you are married with a child, it's time to put your family's needs ahead of your own. People are quick to blame Priscilla for having the affair, which yes it was wrong because one wrong does not warrant another, but remember she got tired of waiting for him and taking her for granted with no affection. It takes 2 people to make a marriage work and both people have to work on it. Taking a wife for granted and neglecting the intimate part, is bound to cause the wife to stray in desperation for affection that she wasn't receiving from her husband.

the guy playing elvis did good in the first volume, and maybe the first 2 parts of the 2nd volume .. but after that he just turned terrible .
