Thank God, she had enough sense to finally say no more . He also rapes her. He was very controlling with Priscilla. She tried her best to make that marriage work. I didn't realize all these things. I haven't read her book/books. Maybe, I should have. I've been very enlighten, by what I've seen here. These are Priscilla ' words. I believe her. I think Elvis's drug addiction was pretty serious. I don't think he would have done those things, had he NOT been on drugs. I imagine Elvis could have gotten anything he wanted, as far as pills go. And, anything else, for that matter. I still admire who he was. Not what he become. But who he was, before all the fame, the drugs, the women, etc. He was the best, when he was entertaining. So very talented. They're never be another as talented. Elvis was the King, as far as his talent goes.

J Even Priscilla never claimed Elvis had tried to turn her into a drug addict. As for the rape scene it was pretty despicable of Priscilla, who was the executive producer, to allow this scene in the movie. It wasn't in her book and she said it was put in for dramatic effect. Priscilla changes her mind so often about her life with Elvis, and he's not here to give his side of the story, no-one know the truth about their marriage.

There is always the truth and the version of the truth as well as two sides to every story. In this she seems to do no wrong but we are all human and none of us are perfect. I do know that she is a millionaire because of being Mrs. Elvis Presley and she is getting richer everyday where she is on the board of directors at EPE. Lisa Marie signed almost all of her rights away on the advice of Precilla so Lisa Marie put her Mom in charge of all the decisions of Graceland and Elvis's estate. It is sad that Elvis's fans are now being charged $27.50 to walk past Elvis's grave and pay thier respect and love for him .Elvis loved his fans and we still love him. R.i.p. Elvis. Elvis wasn't a saint. Not saying Priscilla did right, but any woman with a little bit of self-respect in her shoes would have done the same, or killed Elvis first, then herself. For a start this woman had an affair with her dance instructor just a year after she married Elvis and when Lisa was just 3 months old. And then Priscilla left Elvis for Mike Stone who just happened to have a pregnant wife and small child. Then she screwed Elvis for as much maintenance as she could, even taking him to court twice. Of course her and the penniless Stone had to live the life she had been accustomed to when she was Mrs Elvis Presley and Elvis was going to have to pay for it. If she thought Elvis was having affairs why didn't she confront him with his womanising. She never did and she didn't divorce Elvis for adultery although he should have divorced her for adultery. In Priscilla's book she actually said she had no evidence Elvis was having affairs but she suspected it. The truth is an ever changing concept to Priscilla and as Elvis is not alive to tell his side of the story no-one is ever going to know the truth. And I wouldn't trust the Memphis Mafia, I wouldn't trust anyone who has written a book about Elvis just to make a quick buck. The real friends of Elvis have kept silent about his private life. I do agree with you on one point, I'm sure Elvis was no saint but he certainly deserved someone better than the bitch he married!

Elvis gave her money when she left, and he didn’t grieve over the settlement he gave her. After people stop going to Graceland, Lisa Marie inherits Graceland. I thought this guy did much better than Kurt. And this movie was way better. A much richer portrait of Elvis' character. (The nuances n such; not the 1 sided 'evil' Elvis stuff). I just felt like I got 2 know Elvis; got much more in touch w the character; the human side of him. That's kudos 2 Dale 'and' Priscilla/n screenwriters, in the story n script). I think Dale got gypt (is that spelled rt?) He shda, coulda been a Star, or a well respected theatre/stage actor (obviously, all is my opinion).
