We used to decorate everything inside and out! Even had 3 Christmas tress one year and had a pig roast in our backyard! Our kids were grown( six) and all our kids their spouses and even their friends plus all the grandchildren (one year 5 boys born the same year) But now I'm not able because I'm closing in on my 80s and my husband passed almost 10 years now. I do put up a big tree and decorate inside and fix Christmas dinner,but itss not the same.Even my great grands are teens now, except for the 6 year old,and she still gets excited!❤ The rest are off doing their own thing now. They all are making their own family traditions,and I'm glad,but it does get lonely on Christmas day.They do drop in for a little bit before going home from being at their inlaws.I cook dinner on Christmas eve for the few that come pretty often. It was from his cousin Harold. Harold had to go to Elvis for financial help a few times going back to when Gladys was alive. He never was able to get ahead and had a big family, so wasn't able to afford gifts. He and his wife were at Graceland for Christmas and he gave Elvis a card. It said something to the effect that that the only thing he had to give him was his love. He said when Elvis read it his eyes welled up with tears because he was so touched. This is in Harold's book. ❤❤❤❤😢😢

Every year I say the same thing! People don’t seem to decorate like they used to. Even the candles in windows everyone seemed to have. I do see some homes decorated but between the stores, businesses and homes, it’s just not the same. I miss that. Either way, I hope you have a wonderful Christmas season, sending warm wishes from cold and snowy BOSTON! 💚❤️☘️

Danny, I totally agree with you that Linda took the best care of Elvis. I'm sure it weighs on her alot that if she had been there he wouldn't have died. She herself said that she would watch him sleep to make sure he was alright, and she would have stayed awake checking on him if he was in the bathroom. I have also watched a video that one of the housekeeper's said that she heard a loud noise around 9:30am on August 16th, from upstairs and said knowing that Ginger was upstairs she didn't feel the need to go up to his room...

I miss Christmas carolers & also going caroling. In LaCrosse, WI, if you would want to see many lights the area rotary clubs get together & put up many lights in Riverside Park. They are on display from Black Friday thru Dec 31. Some blink to music, others are in shapes and look like the figure is moving. To see them is free, but they collect food for the food patries in the area. It is wonderful! They have a live nativity, Reindeer of Santa, an ice skating rink, horse & carriage rides, and much more.

I have that Elvis Christmas card on the wall above Danny’s head but decided not to send you a duplicate one. I’m gonna keep that one for myself to display on my wall!! Lol. You should see my house!! I always live Elvis too!! I have pictures of him in every room in my house!! As well as Elvis dolls, figurines, etc. And I listen to his music all day long while designing and sewing the OOAK Barbie and Skipper dresses that I make to sell on EBay. 😊

Audubon Christmas lights they were gorgeous. I don’t know why they quit doing it. Christmas ain’t like it used to be. They don’t put lights on the houses no more they don’t play the Christmas songs no more on the radio not like they used to and it’s sad. Merry Christmas to your family from my family.

I would pick Ginger who I thought looked like Priscilla but prettier, then Linda and from everything people say Linda was pretty inside to not just on the outside. Priscilla would be way down the list for me because of everything I 've learned about her, looks didn't help her personality at all. Have awesome Christmas.
