@@brittneyking4284 too many, and many more I suppose will follow. I prefer searching videos like these to hear him talk and say things in his own words. It's so refreshing as if he's still alive. If only he had just 1 person in his life that truly loved him and to guide him. Everyone that was around him seemed to have been yes men and just liked the fame that they were part of being with him. Oh goodness and all these women too🙄🙄🙄 it's so sweet him talking about his first love and he wanted to marry her after she finished her schooling.

His cousin, Billy Smith with his wife Jo, have a You Tube channel called Elvis Fans Matter. Billy was nine years younger than Elvis and spent many, many years with Elvis both as a family member and as a member of the Memphis Mafia. They tell stories about their time with Elvis and answer questions that people send in. Billy and Jo’s older son, Danny Smith and his wife, have a You Tube channel called Memphis Mafia Kid. Both channels are extremely interesting to watch/ listen.

Hearing his voice as he speaks. Priceless. With his soft spoken voice when he spoke but the power of his voice when he sang, his looks, his personality, I wonder sometimes if he was actually an angel sent by God for us to see and hear. Who else could have touched all genres of music in people from rock, to Christmas, to Christian Hymns, to blues and Ballard's, to children's songs? And then show us the human side. Amazing. And the power of his voice in the song "Sylvia" as well as "How Great Thou Art" Who else has had that charisma and still does after 43 years. We're still fascinated and listening to that voice that no one else has ever equaled. The King.

This is as real as it gets. So many think that Elvis had it made. He worked so hard and traveled so much in cars, often sleeping in the back seat of a car so they could get to the next town for the next show, and even after he got really big he didn't let up. He still worked hard always trying to make things better. He was a perfectionist and I always wanted to excite snd please his fans. I really enjoyed this interview and his talking voice is so pleasant to listen to. I also love his sincere answers and I will always love Elvis. God only created one Elvis and there will never be anyone that can replace this great southern gentleman. R.i.p. Elvis, you will never be forgotten!

Brenda Booher Sure, he worked hard but one thing was very different for him than other artists who worked hard and eventually made it big: he became hugely successful by the time he was only 21. He had to have his parent’s signature when he signed on with Parker. He made it big after a relatively short time.

I try and imagine where this was recorded and what the room looked like, what Elvis was wearing type of clothes, what car he had outside, lots of questions but only one answer which is the more we search the more we will know. Anyone who has ever met him had said there was just something about Elvis that they couldn’t say of but was unique in a very special way and even on a recorded tape 50 years in time he still can reach us in the same way he had back then, thanks for your time and hope I could reflect a memory of Elvis,,, thanks

Yeah, that greedy A-hole. You know Elvis never change his original agreement with Parker. He could have but he gave him so much credit. Then he got Elvis hooked on drugs in Germany to control him. Elvis deserved so much more. Happiness for one thing….forcing him to marry Priscilla was right for either one of them. That is why I will never understand her parents sending her over to him for all of those years. He was 10 years older than she was. Of course she gave him Lisa Marie and I am sure she was the love of his life.

@@sharoncollins-chiasson9803 nobody forced Elvis to marry Priscilla i think Elvis wanted to keep his promise to Priscilla to marry her when she will be at the legal age.His parents did not send her to Elvis, they resented it, it was Priscilla who insisted to go to Memphis because she was asked by Elvis to finish her schooling there according to Priscilla in one of her interviews.everything was planned by Elvis & Priscilla not her parents.in my opinion they were destined to met, fell in love, get married & have a child.all this was their own choice & what was in the hearts.those ugly stories about them, making their lovestory & marriage as forced are so mean. Those person making up such fake story has twisted mind they are fake friends or fake fans of Elvis.Get over it & let the good memories of Elvis married life with Priscilla be a happy one because they were really happy & in love during their wedding day as evidences showed by their wedding pictures.

We know all about the sycophants that surrounded Elvis, they have put themselves out there for years after he passed. But what I love about Elvis is that he searched through all the faiths of the world yet he died with a copy of a book on the Holy shroud of Turin in his hands. He never lost his love of God nor his gospel roots, surrounding himself creatively with the "Best Gospel Choirs", in the world makes me smile. One of the last songs he ever sang on the piano in Graceland was gospel along with Unchaned Melody, I feel comforted knowing, that although we all feel he went too soon, he was in his spiritual heart, and ready for his passing. I pondered and wondered about that for a long time, but now I know it to be true. We know all the public faces of Elvis, he gave so much of himself, and he burnt brightly for the short time he was here. But we hear almost nothing about what truly drove the man, and from what I have come to understand over the years, it was always his love and selfless devotion for others. He truly never lost sight of that, it kept him humble and was why he was so generous of self and with his money. If only we all got that gift. I still miss him, and I hope I get to see him again one day. Perhaps he is singing over that rainbow bridge somewhere ??? . One thing is for certain though, he earned his right to rest and to be at peace, surrounded by that which he gave so freely...... and that somehow makes the loss a little less sad.

“Feeling obligated for something you didn’t believe in for 4 years in advance”. Anybody would become physically ill. That struck me deep, how difficult that demand must have been on him. If he was only given the chance To be himself, could you just imagine the results ? Not a good thing to be doing something or anything you weren’t really into. That was heartbreaking to hear.

Many singers and actors swear so much when it is unnecessary but Elvis so polite and a gentleman spoke well always. That was part of his charisma. So funny about that guy that slept through Elvis's performance at the front table and then got up when Elvis sang Dixie and then sat back down when the next song started and he did it again on some songs. That must have made Elvis laugh loads afterwards. It made me laugh so that I had to hear that bit at the end of this video again.

It's just wonderful to read these lovely comments,as in the later years when he was really unwell 1977 ,people shared some horrible comments.People should remember him for his kindness, his music especially, one humble beautiful man.His true fans loved him,and his other fans put up horrible things for comments.Thats why Lisa stopped watching his videos concerts,it became to painful reading comments.Lisa said she knew the bad stuff her father took and what her died of.Plus it's a shame people can't forget his downfalls.Just remember the good he did charities he supported, gifts he gave, how he payed for many houses cars, bikes .Plus random people he helped who were down on there luck,,helped strangers with wheelchairs, paid for funerals of people he didn't even know ,RIP elvis

humble and shy but can tell he was very tired ! and he had to do many things he didn't think was right for him .Elvis was always great at everything he did because people could tell he was just a awesome careing guy and has looks and voice of a Angel and this was just the icing on the cake! I just love and respected him as a person.i really liked him before the the costumes .just the real man not image.sweet southern man .a gentleman.his mama raised him right and would be very proud of the man he became.

It’s amazing that they flunked music and then they entered him in a talent contest. I love his talking voice too. It reminds me of my husband when he speaks. The voice. Not that he sounds allot like Bill did. But the deep male sound of a man who’s gorgeous. My husband was the only man I ever thought was as beautiful as Elvis. I lost him in 2001, to cancer.

Carolyn darling . That’s exactly what it is. He was too cooperative. He did walk away one day in the middle of a movie. He was told to not to sing to warm up with the guys in the quartet. He walked out. He went back the next day. They never bugged him again. Lol so he did stand up a couple of times. They bent his way but he did it cause he was obligated to finish the movie.
