Im only really discovering Elvis myself as he passed on before my time, but looking at this amazing scenes from the late 60s to early 70s and then seeing the stuff from his final concerts just 4 years later.........its unbelievable the deterioration in his physical condition over such a short period of time. I know drugs played a big part in his death, and in the later videos his eyes look a bit dazed and spacey. I dunno, it just seems like he looked after a lot of people, and Ive read about his generosity which was legendary, but it seemed like nobody looked after him. Like Muhammed ali, he had a lot of folks hanging around him all looking to get a bite, not many willing to give.

Princess Diana, John F. Kennedy, Jr., Carolyn Bessette Kennedy, and Lauren Bessette are ALIVE. There’s also a long list of celebrities, entrepreneurs and others including David Bowie, Elvis, Marilyn Monroe, Michael Jackson, Robin Williams, Steve Jobs, and Whitney Houston who are alive, too. There are many more whose names are not listed. Over time, each one of them joined International Witness Protection Programs for protection. Yes, they went into hiding to protect the lives of loved ones and themselves from unimaginable evil. Now, they’re ready to come out and share their stories with the world. However, you can imagine that they want to do so in the best way possible considering that they had to leave their families, friends, and careers behind. This is where WE COME IN. I’m urging you to share this news with family, friends and in every forum possible (for example, fan websites, Instagram, TikTok, KZbin, wherever you can). Post messages of Greetings and Love to any of the people on the list. Let’s show them that we are anxious to see them again and are willing to respectfully allow each one of them the opportunity to tell their own stories. As you can imagine, this is a really BIG DEAL for all of these folks.

The world has been sadder since Elvis left. We (his fans) were cheated when God called him home way too soon. But imagine that in heaven Elvis has been reunited with his parents, his twin brother, Lisa Marie and her son Ben. Someday we may reach heaven and get to hear all the angels sing. You know Elvis would be chief among that number.

I was born in 1979. I've been listening to Elvis I suppose since I was about 17. I had a picture of him up on my wall at college next to Bruce Dickinson and Slash. For me, a natural performer is someone that makes you smile when you listen to their music. I was washing up this morning, this came on the radio and I grinned like a Cheshire cat. Therefore, Elvis nailed it.

I CAN'T BELIEVE WHAT AN AMAZING VOICE THIS MAN HAD. IT WAS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE FOR HIM TO DO ANY SONG LESS THAN INCREDIBLE. EVERY TIME HE COVERED ANOTHER ARTISTS SONGS, IT WAS BETTER...BY FAR. AND THE GOOD LOOKS TO GO ALONG WITH THE VOICE. I REMEMBER GETTING DUMPED IN A FEW PAST RELATIONSHIPS, BUT THEN I REMEMBER THAT PRISCILLA DUMPED ELVIS FOR AN IMPOVERISHED KARATE INSTRUCTOR (MIKE STONE). IF IT CAN HAPPEN TO HIM...WE ALL SHOULDN'T FEEL TOO BAD. GOD BLESS

As I watch this I realize there can never be another musician like Elvis. Just the way he broke through in the conservative 50’s and changed the whole scene. I don’t want to say it’s all been done now, but when he did it the landscape was wide open. Same with the Beatles for example. Kind of sad to think will never be legends to that level ever again.

We might, once the cash machine of the modern music industry finally breaks down. The problem/beautiful thing with vacuous, artificially-catchy, disposable condom bands like the kind that were popular... exactly 10 years ago, is that they can't maintain their momentum. Iron Maiden played to anywhere between 100,000 and 250,000 people at Rock in Rio 1985. Then they played to even MORE people in Rock in Rio 2001 around 350,000. Meanwhile, the pop acts of the early 2010s, most of which I'm sure you've forgotten about, couldn't outdraw even the lowest estimate of Maiden's crowd. Acts like Maiden have only gotten bigger with time. The pop princesses of yesteryear can only stagnate, because they're not in charge of their music. Thus, they can't evolve and grow.

was Elvis a musician? By definition a musician is some one who can read and write music and play an instrument. Some one who plays an instrument does not have the ability to read and write music but paly an instrument is just another person.
@bgrady243 жыл бұрын
@@bwana-ma-coo-bah425 well for one thing he has a guitar. Last I checked that’s an instrument. Second, I consider the voice an instrument. Either way it’s splitting hairs. Musician, entertainer - whatever. The guy was a legend.
