Elvis wss my very first concert in 1976 at Notre Dame IN. I was very young, single digits! My sister camped out to get such great seats, floor, row 7 Center! I remember the excitement, the chills that ran down my arms watching Elvis perform! And my mom had me on her shoulders, I was trying to catch his scarves!! The following year he passed away...oh how i remember my mom and sister bawling non stop. RIP Elvis 1977 and my mom 1980.

Elvis did influence a lot of artists and he helped bridged the gap amongst the races through his music and attitude...don't sell him short...but comparing to Jesus, we all fall short. You may or may not know, after shows it was common for the musicians to gather in Elvis' suite and stay up all night singing gospel music, he loved Jesus, he wasn't perfect and had his own demons to contend with, but he IS with Jesus now.

If he really knew it he would have sung the song without the lyric sheet AND he would have gotten the words correct. He also messed up the lyrics during the "Aloha" rehearsal on January 12th, 1973 - whilst reading from cue-cards! Elvis was no memory mastermind, as some fans claim - without any evidence.

@@icanfartloud agree, you can't hear the bass at all, if there is one thing Burning Love is, it's a drum, bass sound. I like hearing John's Wilkinson's rhythm guitar in the miix. You can tell something is wrong with sound as one of the Sweets is tapping her ear and I know it's first time playing live but that could explain a little with the sloppy ending or they haven't decided how to end it, even said that in the rehearsals at Sunset when they did the longer ending and Elvis asked "How are we going to fade it on stage?"
