Love watching you enjoy Elvis’ music and his gorgeousness! I was fortunate to see him in concert when I was 22 in 1974, once in Monroe, Louisiana and again in my hometown of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. My Mom loved Elvis since forever and she was gracious enough to take me, my cousin Tana and Mom’s best friend, Evelyn White to both shows. Absolutely fabulous memories and we had so much fun! Interesting story happened at the Monroe concert. A 5 yo girl named Rhonda was sitting on top of her Aunt’s shoulder and caught Elvis’ eye so he got his guards to bring her close to the stage. His security guy held her up for the entire concert. During the final song, he had the little girl brought onstage, he kneeled to hold her singing the last few bars of the song to her. He then kissed her cheek and placed his scarf around her neck! As security was taking the child off stage, a nasty woman ripped off the scarf from her neck. Elvis turned to see what was happening and his face could have sent daggers through that woman. He came offstage, picked Rhonda up, jerked his diamond cross off his neck, gave her a little kiss, then said “Here darlin’, this is yours and nobody can ever take it away!” The family tried repeatedly to return the necklace which held a special significance to Elvis but he wouldn’t take it back. He was such a generous, giving man! I adore him❤️

Hot hot hot yes your reaction was one many women have had over the years. A beautiful man and I can honestly say the only performer that I was really smitten with. 65 now and he still turns my insides to jelly when I see him perform. He also is someone when I watch I feel a true sadness knowing his end and how in the space of a few short years he deteriorated so rapidly. I am so happy seeing your generation becoming acquainted with Elvis as now you understand what all the fuss was about.

Every woman wanted him and every guy wanted to be him. With everything going on right now I wanted to post nice things on my Facebook page. I decided to post one thing daily of things that make me love the USA for 30 days. Today my topic was Elvis. America gave us Elvis and that led me to you. When Elvis was younger he stopped at a car dealer. As he was walking in a young black girl walked out of the dealership crying. Elvis asked what was wrong. She explained that they wouldn't sell her a car. She said she needed a car to get a job to pay for her going to college. Elvis took her by the hand and walked back inside and he bought her that car. He then told her to be at Graceland the next day for her new job. Her job was to sit at the dining room table and study. All she had to due was bring him a plate of food before she went home. And by the way he paid for her to go college. Unbelievable!!!

Lets See now ........The difference ... Between Elvis and rest .. Go's like this......... Elvis won the world over with his ability's ..... Far above mortal man ................. Able to leap high notes in a single breath ........... Or blow the roof off with some low tone tornadic whirlwind of a grinding persuasion flowing out of him with the greatest of ease ............. To start a song off as if it would be soft and sweet .... Only to have it end up taking you up to high heaven and beyond .... Thinking what if you just heard and saw was earth- bound or God sent ....... Yes sir .......... What ever you do .............. DO NOT TRY TO OUTRUN ......... The powerful sounds coming out of him .............. His tornadic voice creates winds that can blow you into others around you .......... In to laps ...... Causing turned over popcorn .. Spilled drinks ..... Stepped on candy bars ...... Hell ......... Even screaming in your ears .... Both of them ..... All at once ............ Coming from both sides even from the front and in back of you ....... Thousand of Picture being taking ...... Even at hundreds of feet away .....Blinding you the whole time ....... But man .............. look-Out ......... As he can can change direction quickly Vocally .......... And send you to La-La land in an instant ...............Hell .......... He's been known to lift up people in cars and trucks even houses and toss them into happiness within one note. So hold on man .....Elvis is king. Borrowed talent from God himself as history has proven it 73 YEARS AND COUNTING.... Once in awhile God sends a mes-sager to his people, Elvis was one such mes-sager. Mankind can try to change it and proclaim some-one his equal or better if they want ...... BUT God already said ..... That son ... That is something that you just can not change ....... The man has everyone {Including Me} looking up on the stage as they wanted to watched every move and listen to every sound he made...... Yes sir...... I saw Elvis live ....... And I will tell you right now that hearing him on CD's or Record or seeing him on TV or here on you-tube ....... I can tell you right now .... It is nothing like seeing him in person ...... Take it x1000 to that him In person............. He was that Absolutely fantastic ...... He was like the Suction of a f-5 tornado . Once in his grip ......... You are a fan..... PERIOD ......... And so as you are determine to jump into the whirlwinds created by the king himself WE BID YOU GOOD LUCK ON YOUR JOURNEY AND WELCOME ABOARD ................SO NOW THAT YOU ARE BEING OFFICIALLY SUCKED IN TO THE F-5 WHIRLWIND TORNADO .... Going by the name Elvis Aron Presley .............. Please above all ............... Keep hands, arms, and legs inside your seat at all times ................. To avoid hitting nearby supporters, people, and other objects. try to Sit properly in your seat without twisting around, kneeling, or otherwise rearranging your body in a way that may compromise the effectiveness of the safety restraints built -in. Witch is the arm rests ......... Seat belts ........ Or a hand rail or any other form of safety device if equipped .................. Or you may have to just hang on for dear life ......... Or hold on to any other life forms in your area ................ Above all ............ Enjoy the ride.................. And so here is another gift from the king ..................Elvis Presley - " Life " ................kzbin.info/www/bejne/imXGiJ6Djdd6oNE Attachments area Preview KZbin video Elvis Presley - " Life " {{ Elvis did EXACTLY 647 songs }} .......... Love watching your reactions to Elvis, just like every other woman has felt towards him. Such a shame we lost him so early. I lived in VA right before his death. My friend & I sat for 2 days in line to get tickets to his concert. One week before the concert he died. Everyone was crushed. Being young & stupid at the time, we turned our tickets in for a refund. Could kick myself in the butt everyday now for doing that. Wish we could have seen him in person. Like every other girl then, was hoping he would pick you out of the audience because you were the one.

So, it was physically difficult for him to sing, plus, at the time it was recorded, spring 1972, Elvis was in no mood for happy, upbeat songs. The recording and rehersal session where he did Burning Love was part of footage not used in "Elvis: On Tour" in the same segment that "Always on my mind" that you reacted to earlier came from. Burning Love was in "Elvis: On Tour" but they used a live version. Elvis, as i said also was in no mood for a happy, upbeat song because he and his wife Priscilla had just seperated at the time of it's recording in '72. He was favoring more somber songs at the time.
