My father was in people magazine after auctioning the contents of his Elvis Presley Museum. He owned the largest in the world. He made over 4 million dollars on that Auction and still has many pieces. My father is 84 years old now. He stopped touring in his late 70s. My father was called in to do the high parts on some of Elvis’s albums. They met before I was born and stayed friends all of his life. When I was little,I was in a body cast and I wore leg braces with a bar across my knees to keep my legs separated because of my bad hip, Elvis would carry me around instead of me staying in the wheelchair, lol. Until the day my Mother died, she swore I was Elvis’s child. I always thought she was crazy 🤪 because I looked so much like my Father.

Aww thank you beautiful for sharing this story!!! My grandmothers sister worked at the hospital, where Lisa Marie Presley was born and one of her grandchildren is the head RN of one of the units there today. I’ve also toured Graceland and would love to again it was amazing fun. Fond memories!🙏🏻❤️

Wow wow what a great job Barbara Ann I really enjoyed this video. You have such a beautiful clear and articulate voice. I've watched other documentaries about Elvis. But yours was the best. I personally was never a fan of his. Although there is a few songs of his that I liked, but yeah, this was a highlight of my day.Thank you so much❤

@ I did. You did a great job. And I had no idea he was a twin, that's crazy. I had a miscarriage at three months and when they did the ultrasound after the miscarriage they seen there was another baby so my oldest son was actually a twin. I asked him if he ever felt like he was missing anything and he said no lol. I think Elvis had a sad life. I think he searched his whole life for what he should be or who he should be and I don't think he ever found that. I also think Lisa Marie had a very sad life. I know she loved her children. It's just so sad when pills and alcohol take over a person. Great job girl love you.❤️

Wow, I had no clue he had a twin, or don't remember bc my long-term memory is horrible. Thank you so much for doing this. I used to watch all his movies with my mom and loved them. My cousins and I would dance to his music all the time. I love that you did these videos, and I love learning more about the people I loved growing up.

@straightoutofcontext you did an excellent job with this one. I have to say, while I enjoy all of your content these fact based deep dives have quickly become my favorite. You are an amazing researcher and are able to convey an effective well rounded overview in an effective and engaging manner. I especially got a kick out of your witty choice of chapter titles. It is my nature to want to pick apart someone’s brain finding the psychology of it all. Elvis, to me, has so much psychology to go through. I knew he was a twin however what a fascinating birth story. That was new. Thank you for conveying times and views were different in those days. That being said, there is so much (imo) that goes into his sense of self, choice of women, and seemingly desire to care for those he thought cared for him even to the point of causing what honestly was a fleecing of his overall wealth. Clearly this all starts with that strange relationship with mom. I think she put a lot on him because of the loss of Jesse. I mean he’s been told all of these special things in a special language. I could go on and on. Anyway thank you! I truly enjoyed this and the time and hard work you put into it. More of this please❤️

The baby talk between him and mom is kinda strange. I didnt know a lot of this stuff. Thanks for the video interesting to say the least. Also as a recovering addict maybe scripts made him feel more comfortable socializing and gave confidence for a short time.
