Hey, Beatle Brad. I did film the Beatles section in one store but I couldn't fit it into this video. Maybe I can make a second video with some of the other unused footage. Did you see my video on the Elvis and Beatles flexi-disc?: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eoizgIyArNGDj8k Thanks a lot!

What a beautiful looking downtown, would love to visit there one day. And wow you found some great ELVIS music as well . Love the last two albums you showed , I'm guessing they are some sort of bootleg recordings? But still would be great to have.

Tokyo has lots of downtowns. I think I included footage from three different areas, all miles apart but still within the Tokyo metropolitan area. I shot a lot more but didn't realise I was holding my phone vertically until late into the day. If I'd shot the footage horizontally, I'd have included more. Yes, the last two LPs are Taiwanese counterfeits. Thanks for watching.

Hi Ellie. The Taiwanese records were mostly not very well made, it seems. They were all "unofficial" releases. I guess there wasn't a huge market for western music, so they made them as cheaply as possible. They're fascinating to collect though. Thanks, Ellie.

Nice collection of records. Not keen on those 80's CD's though. The 45 single The Proud Ones, using the Jew's harp has the kind of Western theme of the lone cowboy riding his horse. Good western made 1956 for 20th Century Fox with Robert Ryan, plus EP related actors, Arthur O'Connell, Jackie Coogan and Robert Middleton who died a month before Elvis.
@ElvisPresleyInJapan

Yes, Western movie themes were quite popular back then. My copy of Western Caravan Volume 6 was part of a set I bought that included a lot of singles containing such music. Thanks for watching.
