One day during my Junior year of Highschool I was messing around in the music room playing and singing old songs my parents knew and grew up with. After doing stand by me, I started playing this when the most beautiful girl I ever laid eyes on walked in to the room. Six years later I asked that girl to marry me and she said yes. Now that she is gone, I love listening to it and remembering the day I met her and the short time we had together.

The way Elvis Sang the words makes this and many other songs he sang sound unbelievably melodic and full of feeling, anyone can sing words to a song but not everyone can sing them in a way that moves your soul and that's the difference and it also explains what singing soulful means, in case anyone is not sure why Elvis Presley was so great.
@elenacoronado6226 Жыл бұрын
Correct, he will not be awarded that Elvis Presley Blvd., built him those statues in US, even Germany if he was just an ordinary singer, he was always ahead of many singers.

And all taken on vacuum tube driven recording gear. Also see Love me Tender, All Shook Up, Don't be Cruel for 1956. Sound engineers take note. It was always about the midrange and that got lost in the solid state shuffle. We suffered for years with SS gear touting great specs, unfortunately the wrong specs got measured. Try an AM car radio from the early-mid fifties and you'll get the idea. Then move on to single ended vacuum tube gear with efficient loudspeakers. Be prepared ...

On this day in 1957 {September 1st} Elvis Presley performed at Sicks Stadium in Seattle, Washington. It was a 11 song set and the concert's attendance was 16,000 fans, one of those in the crowd was 14 year old Jimi Hendrix. The 7th song in the set was "Love Me"; it had entered the Billboard Top 100 on Nov. 17th, 1956, eventually it peaked at #2 {for 2 weeks} & spent 19 weeks on the Top 100. And Elvis had recorded the song exactly one year earlier on Sept. 1st, 1956 for his 2nd album, 'Elvis'.
