Suspicious Minds he just keeps going. I love it when he goes to tease one of the Sweet Inspirations and scares her half to death. They all just had fun together. He never said they work for me - Elvis always "they work with me. He wanted to see how good each performer on that stage was so good.

Thanks man, If you check out his IF I CAN DREAM ( white suit ) You will see how versatile he was, But this is just 2 of 200 styles he had. He really helped the Black Community. The best Charity giver to all kinds of people. 32 Films. And this is still cutting him short.

Elvis and James Brown were good friends and considered each others as brothers. They complimented each other always. You might enjoy Just Pretend live in Las Vegas 1970 and Mystery Train/Tiger Man live Las Vegas 1970. I am truly enjoying your reactions. TCB 👑⚡️

A note about Polk Salad: it is Poke Sallet, or Pokeweed, being a poisonous plant that should not be touched bare handed for it can pass through your skin into your blood; it may be eaten if picked only in the spring & cooked 2ce.

June 5, 1956 Elvis performed "Hound Dog" live on Milton Berle's show. That performance set forth a cultural change some were not ready for... Watch "Hound Dog" live with Live audio from June 5, 1956 when you get a chance.

@DxmnTyler ; FUNFACT ; This song 'Polk Salad annie" is about a poor black girl from the other side of the tracks who routinely picked a weed called “poke” and prepared it for supper. Luckily she knew what to do with the poke, because the actual plant can be fatal if not cooked properly or if picked at the wrong time. The song may have been titled “Polk Salad Annie” by the label, but in the Deep South it’s generally pronounced “poke sallet. "You can only eat the leaves if they’re cooked right, and you can’t eat the berries, they’re poisonous,” ON THE MENU: During the 1970 Elvis Summer Festival at the biggest Hotel then , 3.500 seats (3 balcony's) in the biggest showroom were Elvis performed (= The International "Hilton" Hotel ) the management put in the fancy showroom because of the song "polk salad annie " , polk salad on the menu to eat ! :D Of course adjusted and fancied up with all kinds of extra ingredients . ** Elvis & James Brown ** : U mentioned James Brown. Funny thing is that Elvis and James Brown were buddies, soul brothers as James called him , and of course Elvis being heavy influenced during his youth and later on in his life always dressed flashy , like blacks used to . I mean wich white guy dresses up in 1972 in a purple silk jumpsuit with a huge golden belt (given to him by the Las Vegas authorities for breaking all attendance records) , shiny boots and high white collar (the way they dressed in Harlem in the 30's-40's) and visits the White House = President Nixon in 1972 ! :D I mean come on. Unheard of . ** Cape wearing ** : In 1971 until his death in 1977 Elvis wore with his jumpsuits a cape ! at his concerts . Who started this? Yep James Brown in the 60's at his performances. So you see Elvis was a simple white dude with a black soul . If you watch the music dances with Elvis. Every move he made let his band know to speed up slow down ect especially with his drummer ronnie Ronnie Tutt. How about strawberry letter 23 by the brothers Johnson. It's a favorite of mine from my childhood. I had such a crush on both of them
