Hi, my friend Bill, Edson Camacho here. I really enjoyed this video. The place seems to maintain the appearance of what we saw in the movie. I wish I could see it up close. You are truly lucky. I also liked when you sang a part of the song. Thanks!

Glad you liked it Edson. The garage scenes are still intact! It is fun to sing those songs!!

Awesome but it was 62 years ago. Kid Galahad is a 1962 American musical film starring Elvis Presley as a boxer. It was released by United Artists[3] in August 1962 and opened at #9 at the American box office. Variety ranked it #37 on its list of the top-grossing films of 1962.

Hi Spa Guy, I really liked this video the photo match ups were spot on and when you mentioned the main tree that's shown in the opening sequence of the Kid Galahad movie I was expecting just a stump and the rest of the area being a car park!! I am so pleased that the area is pretty much left as it was. The garage was too is still there, though its a shame they cut through a wall and made another entrance inside. It reminds me that back around 1973 they were showing a lot of Elvis movies on television over here in the UK my dad wasn't really an Elvis fan but did eventually like some of his songs. One time they were going to show Kid Galahad so I asked dad " Do you like boxing movies?". He told me he did, so I said " There's a really good one with Charles Bronson can we see it?". He said "Sure why not ". Dad liked Charles Bronson so when the movie started dad was a bit disappointed seeing Elvis dad said " I thought Charles Bronson was in this movie?" I said " I'm sure he is". Well dad did like the movie and was surprised that Charles Bronson was in it dad also liked Gig Young .It was an early movie role for Bronson and he went on to greater roles later on. Thank you again Take Care

Great video. Billy and Trey - you can call yourselves film researchers or film buffs. One thing Billy got wrong; it was 63 years ago that Kid Galahad was filmed, not "67" as Billy said. It was 62 since it was released. Kid Galahad was in production between November 12, 1961 and December 21, 1961 (forty days). The film was released on August 29, 1962.
