Is there anyone that was wondering? Elvis had a whole bunch of one-liners. Oh boy, my boys. Thank you. Thank you very much. In that beautiful voice, it is how he said that.

Loved seeing the headboard……how lucky to have this furniture set ! Elvis always loved modern decor and furniture from what I read, and this looked very modern for its time . ❤ your videos ! Thanks !

SG, Dont know why i remember this but,,,for sure I remember my mother calling that material 'herringbone',,,,,on the furniture piece. It was like a wicker type weave. There was also 'herringbone' patterned mens suits back in the day as well. Someone else chime in if they have heard this term for that woven pattern on the furniture piece.. Nice story both parts SG. Thanks!

I am not sure that commercial has even been found.. I did recently hear another radio commercial Elvis did back then for a local business..

The Colonel's Job was to get money for Elvis.. Please quit bashing the man who made Elvis famous.. It is tired!!

The Southern Maid trucks are for the flour company which is different than Southern Maid Donuts. Southern Maid Donuts took their name and image from their flower supplier. I remember going in the original Southern Maid Donuts on Greenwood and Hearne Ave as kid 50 plus years ago. They had a couple of Minah birds and pictures of Elvis eating donuts on the wall. I have never ever had a better donut than southern Maid I’m sure Elvis felt the same way.
