From a shy young boy to global superstar, the icon of the 20th century that was Elvis Presley is still as enigmatic today as when he was alive. the most celebrated and influential popular musicians of all time, his gift and talent, flaws and failings are as enchanting now as they were when he first snarled his lips.

This man was the total package the looks, talent, preformed. He stared in 33 movies and they have made his house into a museum. There has never been and will never be another like Elvis. He was good to his fans, he gave cars, home and jewelry to strangers in need. Micheal Jackson took a lot of Elvis's moves from Elvis early years.

Elvis loved his girls back there and they loved him. Mutual respect that went way beyond what most back up groups and lead singers possess. And this during an era of racial disharmony and race riots and assasinations. Many reasons why Elvis should have failed but he was authentic and people could not get enough of his music and performances. Looking back it was his heart of gold that I think would have stole the spotlight had he continued to live to this day. He sold more records than everyone else, including MJ, for many reasons. A natural born entertainer that was a social warrior before the term ever existed is one of his sweeter realities. And the sex appeal is clear in everything he does, including that move you replayed, he was still a heart throb in his later years and women went CRAZY for that man. L.o.s.t. their minds!! ;) Great humanitarian that I wish was still alive today. He would ha ve really been a help with all thats going on but at least he has a great legacy and new fans and that's fun for us long time Elvis fans to see 1st hand! Thanks for the reaction and already subbed!! Try "If I Can Dream" in a white suit. His personal tribute to MLK who was shot in Memphis Elvis' hometown.

white preachers preached against him in the churches...white racists called him the N word, politicians talked against him, white radio people broke his records and stopped playing them..because he had black people in his group and he moved and sang black music. It really upsets me when I hear black people calling him racist, its such a slap in the face of a man that was penalized because he wasn't racist in a time when almost every one else was. He was kind to everyone and really poved and respected the black community that he was raised in in Memphis.
