I'll tell you a memory of Elvis, I was with my mother at a Dr's appointment, she was in with the doc, and I was in the waiting room, they announced over the speaker that Elvis Presley had died, everyone in the office began to cry and wail, I was just a kid, and didn't know what was happening. When my mom came out crying, I said: "Mom, who was Elvis Presley?" She said: "The best-looking man that ever lived. So, for years I thought that is what he was famous for. There was a lot more to Elvis than an entertainer, look up 'the Elvis train and how that happened. Or the songs in 'the ghetto. ' Or "If I can dream." He lived a great life.

And on this im not saying it was right or good but I can see why, too keyed up after a concert, so sleeping pills to help sleep and then uppers to get going the next day, unfortunately Elvis always thought "hmmm, 2 pills can make me sleep" let's see if I take 4/8/12 at a time I'll really be knocked out

You say you knew him 10 years. As an Elvis fan, I like hearing about him from those he loved and trusted. How were you fortunate enough to know him? Three things ..if you would share..did he want the divorce? or was he depressed over it. My opinion is he wanted his freedom but he was embarrassed by her flaunting another man in front of the world. Another question is did he want her back? My opinion is no. Finally, did he know he would die soon? Referencing what he told you would help a lot. Thanks, PJ. I know you say you get ridiculed but Elvis fans deserve the truth after all that Elvis hating and lies are everywhere.

Elvis ..... " WAS AND IS MUCH BIGGER" ..... Then you can even imagine ..... Till you look ..... in-fact he was pure magic ..... No auto-tune ..... No lip syncing ..... Just pure and never ending ..... Timeless talent ..... AS TIME HAS PROVEN ..... Elvis recorded exactly 769 songs ..... Did 31 Movies ..... 2 Documentaries ..... Did over 1100 Concerts in the Seventies ..... Once you know Elvis ..... You know he did it all ..... No Brag ..... Just Fact ..... SO ..... IF YOU DECIDE TO LOOK AT THE HISTORY OF ELVIS ..... AS HE COVERED EVERYTHING ..... WE BID YOU GOOD LUCK ON YOUR JOURNEY AND WELCOME ABOARD .....PLEASE ABOVE ALL .....Keep your hands ..... Arms ..... And legs inside your seat at all times ..... To avoid hitting nearby ..... Supporters ..... People ..... And other objects ..... Try to Sit properly in your seat without twisting around ..... kneeling ..... Or otherwise rearranging your body in a way that may compromise the effectiveness of the safety restraints built -in ..... Which are the arm rests ..... Seat belts ..... Or a handrail ..... Or any other form of safety device if so equipped ..... OR .....You may just end up holding on to any other life forms in your area ..... After all they too are being sucked in ..... Or hell ..... You may have to just hang on for dear life on your own ..... Above all ..... Enjoy the ride ..... To help you catch up ..... There were two different actual filming of THE ALOHA FROM HAWAII Special that happened ..... The Rehearsal ..... AND ..... The Show that aired around the world first ..... And that over 1 1/2 billion { with a B } though satellite around the world at that time watched it ..... Never attempted before ..... ELVIS WAS THE FIRST SOLO PERFORMER EVER ..... To do a satellite show ..... And I guess it should be watched and now an ungodly amount sense then ..... Think about this ..... How many of the 11/2 Billion back then could not speak English ..... And the ungodly scene ..... {MIND BLOWING } Isn't it ..... For Instants here is "what now my love" filmed recordings of the 1973 Hawaii show ..... The rehearsal show ..... And the show that aired .....What Now My Love {Both shows a filled to capacity in Hawaii ..... Both Recorded only one the Second show aired } ..... for instance ..... Here is the rehearsal of the song ..... What Now My Love ..... kzbin.info/www/bejne/oJm1d51ulMSIiZo ..... And here is the show ..... kzbin.info/www/bejne/i6HNfJ-Fgpx-h5Y ..... The endings are different ..... But both sound the same till then ..... What a talent ..... Who else but Elvis .... Could do two life performances and sound the same Both till he changed the ending on them .... Both are a gift from Elvis ..... Once Elvis sings it ..... Anyone else's recording fades away ..... Heard this over and over ..... And I still listen all the way though ..... Listening to Elvis singing has all-ways lifted up my life ..... No matter how much it sucked ..... He is my brother and my greatest friend ..... Elvis is Elvis ..... What more can one say ..... NOTE: Elvis gave away millions and millions ..... And he did these things for the people in need ..... In 1961, he performed a concert to build the USS Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbor and raised more than $65,000. And 12 years later, Elvis donated the proceeds from his 1973 “Aloha from Hawaii” satellite-concert to the Kui Lee cancer fund..... Raised $75,000 ..... And he did it for all the world ..... Here is that link ..... www.iheartelvis.net/elvis-pictures/elvis-his-generosity-was-amazing ...... Who else but Elvis .... I saw Elvis lots of times live ..... Never paid over $ 25.00 a ticket ..... Elvis said ..... He would never make anyone pay to much to see him ..... And he never did ..... Lets see any one now do that ..... People pay a-lot more now for a-lot less ..... PERIOD ..... As he left all his recordings just for us .....And so here is another gift from the king ..... Elvis Presley - " Life " ..... kzbin.info/www/bejne/imXGiJ6Djdd6oNE ....{{ Elvis recorded EXACTLY 769 songs }} ..... And he did them better than ..... ANYONE ELSE COULD ..... ANYONE ..... PERIOD ..... Once you know Elvis ..... You know Music ..... And that he ..... Did it all ..... No Brag ..... Just Fact ..... BIG N ...

My one brother is correct❗ He mentioned - "the lady's voices given it up". That's the legendary #SweetInspirations backing Elvis up here. The Sweet Inspirations were considered the premiere soulful backing group in the industry at that time. They backed up Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin many other greats. He was on point for recognizing their great voice is on lock. Side note trivia involving another Legend here - this was one of #JimiHendrix favorite Elvis jams. His friend (journalist Sharon Lawrence) said when this Elvis song came on the radio back in the day Jimi would "shush" everybody around him, and crank up the volume on radio singing along with Elvis on Suspicious Minds. RIP to them Both Jimi & EP
