There is just so much to love about Elvis. His handsome good looks, the most amazing voice ever to sing a song and then such an amazing sense of humor. His dimples and smile just made you melt ❤❤. I really pray that he did have joy and happiness during his much too short life. His Momma's passing broke him and I often wonder if he ever made peace with that. Elvis, you were loved deeply by people of all ages ❤❤. Us faithful fans will always keep your legacy alive and well. We miss you so much 😢😢. Rest in Heavenly Peace

Elvis will always be the consummate performer of all time. No one can reproduce that ability of taking the stage and making you feel like you're in his living room one on one, incredible ease and truly just is very much himself, is very comfortable making mistakes, forgetting lines, being a goof...etc.... Over the years, impersonators over emphasized the wardrobe and enlarged his subtle eccentricities, to the point of characterizing him into a satirical cartoon. However, he was much more aware of himself, his talent and brand than he's given credit for. He wasn't aiming to be a white guy with a black sound, it happened by default and it changed music. He was the 1st crossover artist in a time of segregation. People forget that and through the years the younger generations see just fragments of the real Elvis...and don't know enough about how he changed music.

That concert was a love letter to Priscilla. Go back and listen to it again. The songs he chose all have a message to them. Unless they are his old ones like Houddog or something like that ? I watched it again a few days ago with new eyes. This time period he was grieving the loss of his family. So many of his concerts after this had the same theme. He slowly went downhill from there. Very depressed. Breaks my heart 💔🥺. He loved her so very much. He knew what he had lost. He accepted responsibility for it because of his demanding lifestyle and the woman. I don’t know if he ever admit it to himself about the pills.? 😢
