The year 1972 I was 16 my mom said I'm going to a concert and you're going with me I said who is it she said Elvis Presley I told her I don't think so I was in two led Zeppelin, Bruce Lee, Black Sabbath. I noticed when I walked up to the coliseum all these Cadillacs and limos walked in the door beautiful women in mink coats, diamonds men and tuxedos not the crowd I was used to we sat in our seats Elvis came out did his thing blew me away I'm going to say it again blew me away I was in awe his energy his charisma and his stage presence along with his talent did something to me that night Best concert I ever saw not playing the 68 special I just happened to see it was on TV everybody watched it I thought it looks like a cool guy but in person oh my It was something else It was personal yeah the king no doubt.

In the mid 1960s they gave him trash movie songs to record (he HATED it), and trash movie scripts. by 1968, He had enough, and made this spectacular comeback.
