The tour I took December 2022 was a regular vip tour and it was fabulous. Their normal guides seem to love their work. They are excited to answer your questions and when the guided tour ended we were FREE to wonder the grounds on our own!

I don't pretend the tours to be free..Graceland needs money to be preserved. But prices are higher and higher and, if you notice, the crowd is increasingly smaller 😒

All EPI is worried about is money. Elvis would hate what their doing and charging so much just go tour his home. Just my opinion. In July it cost me and my 15 yr old son 450 to do the low vip tour. Crazy

I actually understand the difference between WWJD and what he is explaining Elvis wanted. Hopefully his legacy will be remembered in a way that EP has a hand in. So much of EPs life was controlled by others. Hopefully, fingers crossed, EP will be seen in all things in years to come.

As an Elvis Fan since 1956 what I would like to see more than anything is for SONY Music to upgrade Elvis' record sales and Golden Records Worldwide and to release more single albums instead of the constant stream of Boxsets which rarely enter the Charts and which most fans cannot afford. Why has SONY Records not attended the Annual Anniversary for many years now to show upgrades? Fans love to hear of Elvis' successes.

I'm not sure what happened internally, but that's weird! Priscilla knew them since 1963, and LM played with Danny on the grounds when she was there. I

I knew and I have said many times, when Lisa died and Priscilla was pushed away,that Graceland as we knew it is gone...forever. Elvis and Lisa would be horrified at how their family is being treated. Upgrades need to be made to Graceland. Priscilla has always made sure of upgrades needed ...were done...every since she opened the doors to the public but she's getting on in age now and with her daughter gone... she can't fight for Graceland alone. 😢

Keeping Graceland the best it can be will take so much work, so much money. SHE needs attention in every crook cranny. Anyone who has toured Graceland sees the wear from constant tours! 😮 I am sure most ELVIS fans are attentive and respectful. I’m 71 hopefully GRACELAND will be around for the next generations. We are losing those who had first hand knowledge of his legacy his life contributions to world history! ❤ the new changes and projects will be a part to enhance the grounds.

Yes the pool edges were falling apart and crumbling into the pool three years ago. If you look close the house is in disrepair and needs fixing.

@pinebluff1971 totally agree 👍. Graceland is incredibly expensive to maintain, staff to pay, running costs, and paying taxes, and Lisa's heirs who rely on the money coming in, too. Riley and Joel have such a difficult task maintaining the balance between keeping admission prices affordable and generating new income streams. Also, the biggest challenge is keeping Elvis's legacy alive and engaging younger people to visit Graceland, buy his music and films, as Elvis's fans are usually over 45.

Personal I DON'T THINK ANY OF THE ORIGINAL ACREAGE OF THE GRACELAND PROPERTY SHOULD BE ALTERED IN ANY WAY OR BUILT ON WITH ADDITIONAL BUILDINGS ONE WOULD WONDER IF RILEY WOULD EVEN APPROVE OR WANT THAT ON THAT PROPERTY IT SHOULD BE LEFT AS IS AND JUST MAINTAINED

Yes people will pay for it. It comes to $1500 per person, and people pay that much money for all kinds of entertainments; sports events, concert tickets, fancy hotels and restaurants, weekend activities, buy the latest useless gadgets, etc. You can bet that many people will pay that money for a whole day at Graceland. And not just the rich fans either, even that ones with limited budget might decide to save all they have if they really dream of doing that tour. When something is important enough for people, and they want it bad enough, they save and are willing to spend their money on all sorts of things.

He said he doesn't like people trying to make money off of elvis's name. He literally makes money off of elvis at absorbatant prices to get in and do things and come to elvis week. Four diamond hotel? That hotel is not four diamond more like two. It's no better than a mid tier marriot if that due to poor service and restraunts not even being open most of the time. Even low tier choice hotels have free breakfast, fridge in the room, and indoor pools which they don't have. Give me a break.

Personally, I don’t think any additions should be added to the Graceland grounds. There are restaurants and museums on the other property for that. The Mansion and grounds should be a peaceful place. It sounds like it is going to be a three ring circus. It is obvious that they are thinking of generating money. I think the entry prices have gotten so expensive that fewer people are able go. Pricing people out is not the way to spread the “gospel” of Elvis.

------------- Hey Graceland, & EPE, how about finding a way to get Elvis back in the charts, and have some musical masterminds on board with marketing, remixing, special events to gain recognition, etc. My goal is to have Elvis chart with singles again. Consider a half dozen new/old / whatever Single Releases over the next year or so, with the goal of achieving more top 10 and #1 hits for Elvis. We need to keep him competitive. Backstory, since the HOT 100 chart began in late 1958, and still used today, it only captures Elvis from that point, thus cutting out his hottest period and statistics from the old chart (Top 100 chart, not to be confused with HOT 100). Because of this technicality, modern artists are claiming to have exceeded elvis' stats since the current HOT 100 chart excludes Elvis full body of work. And please, no more Lisa Duets, these recordings may mean something to a sliver of the fan base, but we need something with Elvis either solo or a higher profile artists if there's gonna be another duet. Frankly, I don't think Lisa's voice was all that.

Im from Liverpool UK 69 yrs old ..been a fan of Elvis since i was 5 yrs old....id dearly love to come to Memphis and visit Graceland but tbh i could not afford to 6,000 dollars for the tour, hotel expenses, food and drink, and air fare....sorry not a chance.😢 in my heart of hearts i dont believe Elvis would have gone along with all this commercialism , he would have wanted the fans in for free or at a low price just to keep up the maintenance...im not sorry to say the following but greedy EX WIFE...Priscilla has sold out on Elvis...to make sure she and her Son have money for their old age....she has well been paid back and should now disappear well into the background and leave it all into Rileys caperbel hands....imo...❤
