Hi Thank you I gotta go to a shopping centre and watch the Elvis movie no cinemas in City no more. He can come home to me any time! I live in Australia and I remember when he passed away. I watched all his movies have some of his greatest CD's and whenever I hear one of Elvis's tracks on radio I stop and listen, Steve Aussie

Your math and a few other facts are off... During the Korean War, the draft applied to men between 18 and a half up to 35. But the war was declared over in July 1953, literally weeks after Elvis past age 18 and a half. He only would’ve been likely to get drafted had the conflict lasted longer. By the time Elvis entered the Army (voluntarily) in 1958, the U.S. wasn’t at war anywhere. And that remained the case the whole 2 years he served based in Germany.
