I enjoyed this film, and I have never seen these outtakes. I have heard criticism on Elysium has having a weak story. Although one thing I feel Neill Blomkamp does really well is world building. His take on future technology is really impressive. I have often wondered what a Neill Blomkamp Blade Runner would look like. Since Blade Runner takes place in Los Angelas what would be happening at the same time in South Africa? I personally think Blomkamp could bring that story to life and it would look amazing.
