Could someone tell me where I can get a copy of the parade route. I am hoping to be in the country this year. Thanks.

This video shows how racially divided Trinidad is. At carnival time every race is out there gyrating the place down, yet on Emancipation Day only black people are in sight. Where are the rest of the Trinidadians? When there are Indian and other festivals everyone comes out. Why are there so much colourism and racism in Trinidad? If the emancipation of slaves did not take place, Trinidad would not be the multiracial country it is today. I thank God that although I had parents from different races that I do not have this problem.

strange how we dance in the streets but we can't see that we are still enslaved to the economic minority of our land

Maybe if we were to band together like other races, work hard together, open businesses together and not pull down each other as we do, we would be successful like some of the other groups who know how to work hard together, help and respect each other. Notice who is the majority here, women, the matriach of our society who seem to have been the ones responsible for raising many of our families. I will say no more.
